I don't remember anyone posting about this, and a lot of people seem to have forgotten.. As another thread reminded me, I feel the urge to remind all players. Per CCP Presents:

CCP Presents 2014 note I started back a bit too far, just give it a few seconds

TL;DR making it so I can play DaReaper as a pod pilot, Valkyrie pilot, and Legionnaire.

They said they were looking for feedback, so might as well make a thread, if it goes no where then meh.

I think the idea is brilliant, and will make eve a viable competitor to some of the other games coming. Especially if you are able to link your subscriptions or AUR across all aspects of eve, as well as a pool of isk would be great too. I.e. if I have 10k aur in eve, I have that in all three games, and if I have 1b isk I have it in all three games.

So.. thoughts?

But seriously though, I would love to see the door in the CQ be used as a portal between games as well. Exit through door in CQ, end up in 3 sided clone room. Each side has a holographic representation of your avatar for a particular game, a clone vat/tube, and a door. Jump into appropriate clone and go through the door.. One door leads to Valk Hangar, one leads to Legionaire Barracks, and the other leads back to your solitary confinement cell known as the CQ.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Massive undertaking and the economic model would be the failing IMHO.

Stupid idea. One character isn't going to be a pod pilot and a fighter pilot and a merc. Also, most/many EVE players run multiple EVE clients, and are hardly going to shy away from running a seperate client for another game. The identity issue falls under this too, most EVE players already have at least several.

Why wouldn't you jump into another role? You are an immortal god, who I am sure gets bored. Jumping into a clone solder or a fighter pilot is not that big of a stretch. And sure eve players have different identities, but lots of people want to use the same name across each game, I know I do. My dust player is DaReaperJE, which is a name I used in Earth and Beyond, but I would of loved to just be DaReaper. Would make it easier to find buddies in those games as well

I'd think it'd be idiotic for anyone else to be Jvpiter other than my own glorious self in a different CCP game.



This should be a thing, if for no other reason, so that reserved names stay reserved across the CCP universe.

yes and no. We got the eve second decade, we got the source book, we have gotten the art book, the comic book, new clothes in the store, the industry changes, valk is moving along, French is here, null is being addressed, pos work has started albeit slowly, if we get the megathron and the nyx model before 2015 and the new domi redo then they are on par with their promises.

4 to one (well 3 games to one log in) is coming, we are getting SSO which I think could be the ground work for this, and as legion and valk are not out yet there is still time. I still think this is a fantastic idea, esp if as I said, you pay one sub of like $20 a month and get 3 games
