Greetings fellow PI'ers

I just returned to EVE and have some questions regarding changes to PI.

Does the new increased transfer tax make 'factory planets' less attractive? I can't really come up with a different solution than using that setup for my PI-production.

Does the transfer tax make HI-sec PI production meh (not worth the effort isk-wise)?

regards and ty for your time

The tax increases have incorporated into the new prices. (Which I think will slowly inflate the price as future expansions increase the tax as the base prices go up, then those adjustments get added into the new prices, lather, rinse, repeat.)

Depends on how you define "meh" and how mass-production you go.

Either find or make your own PI production costs chart in Google Docs to figure out what makes money.

You can double $17,095,632 on Polyaramids in a day on one planet in hi-sec if you know what you are doing. You can make more money with a lower percentage with more starting isk.

Good luck.

The only change to hi-sec production between this month and last month is you now need to pay a lot closer attention to your tariffs, minimize import/export fees where possible, and watch the market carefully. Sometimes you can turn a profit making the next tier out of the previous tier (for example, P2 -> P3) while at other times you'll need to skip a tier in order to turn a profit (P1 -> P3).

A google docs sheet that uses ImportXML() to pull prices from eve-marketdata or evemarketeer or eve-central is strongly recommended. (As is running one of the various upload tools to make sure that those sites have updated price data.)

Or you could use my program, which also imports prices from eve-central and shows exactly how much you're paying in taxes.
