Last year in the quarterly report EAFs were shown to be the least popular ship, how about giving them a cloak?

What is preventing them from fitting one now?

Oh wait, you want a covert cloak because any ship can be fixed by giving it one of those .. silly me, should have realized! Smile

They are not used because they die faster than noob dictors even in optimal circumstances and a cloak will do absolutely nothing to mitigate that. What it would do is help them replace the even more specialised and fragile CovOps for all but a few tasks ..

Slightly lower mass,
T1 equivalent base stats (such as lock range), and
Slightly smaller signature and a bit more EHP.

is all they need* .. any more is overkill.

*might be worth considering increasing range of scram, neut, web bonuses to yield ~25% more or thereabout .. will help survivability tremendously to get into cruiser weapon falloff (and beyond).

Yup, like a mini recon.

Edit to add: they don't need any more EHP... they have about the same as a stealthbomber at the moment I think that's fair if they had a covert cloak.

**** no. We don't need more covops capable ships.
All EAFs need:

Kitsune - better lock range
Sentinel - is fine
Hyena - more web range
Keres - is pretty much fine

Oh and all of them need a sig radius reduction.

The Keres has two of it's four bonuses geared towards cap conservation. It's not alone in this regard. The Kitsune has two cap conservation bonuses as well. The Hyena and Sentinel each have one. This cries out for a role bonus. The Keres can be alot better and is not fine.
