Amarr Empire Eclipsed! Down with the Pax Amarria!

What is the largest Empire in all of New Eden? If you answered the Amarr Empire, you answered wrong:

Settled Systems

Northern Associates. 669
Amarr Empire 484

Is there a more damning indictment of the Pax Amarria than this? Who will be the one to launch a new Reclaiming?

The new Reclaiming is already ongoing, Nauplius. Goons, RvB and CODE are reclaiming the Amarr Empire, haven't you noticed that?

Just kidding. I'll burn in hell for that, I know.

Largest by what count?

Number of flags placed down? Northern Associates has done more of that then the Amarrians.

Number of citizens? Number of warships? Number of titans? Number of capsuleer pilots?

Your definition of largest isn't really terribly accurate.

Nauplius,

Not only is your theology heretical and wrong, but so is your math

The Amarr Empire controls 736 systems at present (including those currently held in the warzone).
If you factor in the Kingdom (84 systems) and the Mandate (118 systems), that is a total of 938 systems.
Of course the Amarr Capsuleer outposts in Providence under CVA have been dwindling, but still are an additional 40 systems.

How many of the Northern Associate's 'settled systems' are a few automated structures and industrial colonies and a handful of orbital towers?

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Hmm. It appears that Molok the Deceiver has, well, deceived me and that Lunarisse Aspenstar is correct.

Well, Northern Associates is closer than they should be at any rate.

Do electronic flags even count? many of those systems are only "owned" by virtue of a couple automated structures that just broadcast a claim to that system, and no real activity happens there, nor is the space secured, and some of them don't even host inhabited planets.

Upon further research, it appears that Northern Associates was larger than the Amarr Empire in the recent past but is no longer. Alas, my thundering denunciations of the Pax Amarria have been a bit mistimed.

Are you really comparing few hundred nullsec toy soldiers playing literally a videogame in space with rules from CONCORD to an Empire of trillion citizens and capsuleers with armada powerful enough to annihilate any capsuleer ~empire~ within hours? I don't know how about you, but I would slap the butt of Molok the Deceiver hard as ever, Nauplius the Potato.

P/s: The Pax Amarria is neither a prayer book nor a scripture. It's the writings of the late Emperor Heideran VII.

The first third details his thoughts and opinions about the Empire's most trying times, discussing the Amarr-Jove War and the Minmatar Rebellion. The second part discusses his role in the formation of CONCORD and the intricate web of Imperial politics. The final part of the Pax Amarria discusses interstellar peace and the Empire's role in it, and how he believed such is the way to unite the cluster under the 'Power of God's Light'. It even details his plan to make his dreams of interstellar peace and unity via diplomacy rather than war come to reality!

Let us be frank. How many of us actually reads the book instead of using it as kindling whenever the station master messes around with climate control?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Nauppie! I saw a capsuleer by the name of 'Deceiver's Echo,' who was a Matari! Clearly, an agent of Molok.

You know what to do.

Yet. I'm sure it's been put under deliberation by the Theology Council as a possible inclusion to Scripture.

I have. But I guess that's a given.

Quality over quantity.

There is nothing quite as intriguing as Jove space. The rest of anything laid to claim is only at their mercy.

Explain the Angels and the Sansha. Angel vessels all have some degree of Jove tech in it. The Sansha has even more.

I am completely agree with Ms. Grace.
Capsuleer empires are just sandoxes, where CONCORD lets them play by CONCORD rules. For example, you can't even doomsday a planet or small useless moon in null security space. And CONCORD... well, CONCORD can just shut down all capsule ships for an hour, and when we get controls back, will see security of 0.0 space raised to 1.0 with CONCORD ships everywhere and rules of high security engagement. Then empires send in their capital fleets, and capsuleer capital ships won't even be able to use their weapons.

CONCORD might not be the strongest faction, and might lose ships terribly even to capsuleers and other baseliners, but their total control of capsuleers shouldn't be neglected.

Mr. Nauplius, I hope you do know that this Makoto is a known liar, who has recently publically lost her honor (which happened in exactly this forum). Don't take her words for this person to be Molok's agent as truth, and check for yourself before taking any actions.
