Drones window messed up ? or do my drones have a virus

I left a area where i had to go back and scoop my two drones back to there bay. ( my Worm)

When I re-deployed them the armor and hull bubble was a solid red line, The red line was moving to the left slowly, It took 1min for the red line to move from the right to left to re-expose the armor and hull bubbles. The shield bubble never seemed to be effected by this mysterious moving red line.

If I recall the drones back to bay then re-deploy them again the same thing happens, very weird !, I ditched the drones with the virus and went and got two new fresh drones and the "problem" went away.

This has happened to me before but always wondered what it was.

Is this intentional and if so what does it mean ?
