Looks like the ranks of Try Not To Think '14 has no shortage of candidates!

CODE is a subsidiary of Goonfwaffle. CCP likes Goonwaffle (and has members in it), so CCP likes CODE by default.
It's your typical social syllogism. (The "if/then" process that determines who gets to sit at what table in the lunchroom.)

CCP like us blowing each other up. They call that "player created content." As far as I know CCP is the only group (which is socially and legally accepted) that defines destruction as creation. Their stated reasoning behind this is, destroyed ships cause people to shop, so destroying ships is good for the market. It's a lot like Scrooge saying we need to control the "surplus population." ('T is the season to be jolly!)

As soon as CODE doesn't fit this rather interesting "matrix" (I just had to go there) CODE will become just another
group of paying customers (not worthy of serious attention, or CCP's drinkin' buddies), except CODE pays in PLEX,
not in CASH - like I do.

I hope this further clarifies matters for you. If not, you're better off figuring out the plot twists in
The Young And The Restless.

When people say "content", they actually always never not mean "conflict".

If you remember that, EVE will make a lot more sense to you I promise.

Not just EVE, but the whole world. People don't turn on the nightly news to hear "nope, no news today, everyone got along and nobody important died today" lol

Why exactly do you play EVE is you have such a problem with CCPs (and thus, EVE's) philosophy. Hell, why do you play a video game at all if 'destruction' is somehow abhorrent to you?

I mean really, this post sounds like the kind of butt hurt conspiracy thinking ("you know the principal was in the Jocks pocket right?") I heard at my 1st high school reunion from people who still couldn't get over 'the mean people' they stopped having to deal with 10 years earlier...

You're right but your statement doesn't apply to the people I'm assuming you think it applies to.

Citation needed on all counts.

Their game, their definitions, their rules, their reasoning. Don't like it? Leave.

Every PLEX in circulation is paid for with CASH, and generally costs more than a sub. Ergo CCP, indirectly, make more money from those that pay their sub with PLEX than those who pay their sub with cash. With that in mind, what's your point?

Meaning your facts aren't facts and it's not worth the calories it would take to pound the keys to respond -
much as it may seem otherwise to you. But, the passive aggressive response is - quaint. + .02 for that.

Jonah & Jenn,

Although it is hard to tell based on the normal non-sensical posts from Serene, the few that have had any sort of logic to them lead me to believe that you are being trolled.

Dude, I really miss CLARITY, the old good LEARNING SKILL.

The removal of learning skills was the first step to theme park online... :(
