Enough bricks to build a subdivision.

I prefer my ISK to be electronic, not liquid.

Id hate for my liquid ISK to mix with all the other liquid in this universe.. and simply disperse.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I doubt CCP will give out that kind of information, but fortunately, I worked out that if everyone just sends me all of their isk, I can count it for everyone!

Too much, in the possession of too few.
Just like some other reality I know.

Near when I joined EVE I saw Erotica1's profile, which mentioned liquid isk. I've hated the term "liquid isk" ever since I read the bio.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

We'd tell yah, but it's a fluid situation.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

"liquid" is just a phrase borrowed from real life economy.. makes sense since eve's functions in much the same way.

But it's a good question..how much is there total? And does CCP "print" (to borrow another phrase from reality) more every so often?

Read up on sinks & faucets. The answer is yes isk is constantly printed.
But because EVE is not RL, people can simply unsub and their isk leaves the economy, so printed isk doesn't quite have the same inflationary factors.
Last reported we had very slight deflation I believe.

But what about the people that don't lose their isk, so it sits dormant in their account even when they're doing nothing? A good example of this is a miner. Assuming they don't get ganked and are already in their barge, all they do is accumulate isk. If they pay for their sub (don't plex), then the isk they accumulate from selling whatever sits dormant, same as an unsubbed person.
And a person in real life can have money they're not using. A minimalist (?) that only uses what they need to and so they just accumulate money.

I know what it means. I just dislike the dishonesty to isk doubling.

A bit under a quadrillion, I expect.

Total assets owned by players are a lot higher, between 10Q and 20Q.

Holy crap this cracks me up.

Unlike RL, not only is EvE a true equal opportunity game, where with the right hard work (or a good enough credit card) you can become just as rich, but not having a fraction of the isk does not have significant effects on detracting from your quality of life. Perhaps if you stayed on Tumblr you'd fit in better.

And where do you think that ISK comes from? It's already in the game owned by another player. Every time a mission is completed, ISK is created and added to the economy. Every time LP is cashed in, ISK is removed from the economy. And that's just 2 examples. Eve is nothing like rl economies. ISK is constantly being made and destroyed.

Lol The economy... it does not work that way. You can not have more ISK in assets than you can have in all of player's wallets. I'll let you think about why Cool

Nope. It's definitely plausible.

- People harvest materials from (what is essentially) "thin air."
- Those materials have value based on the amount of time, effort, and risk required to harvest it.
- People build stuff using those materials.
- Not everyone sells those end products.
