Honestly, I understand the secrecy. There have been invitation-only parties in the past where the details of the parties were public. A few people who weren't invited showed up. I'm sure the person is just trying to prevent unnecessary drama.

As an aside, not all invitations have been sent yet, some are under consideration. If this seems unfair, I simply do not know many as well as I might, or perhaps should. The opinions of my friends will sway matters either way.
