pretty excited for this to come out but I still feel like the organisers were probably too ambitious with the editing and effects and painted themselves into a corner. I mean there's really no other way to explain how OMC spent more time in post-production than the last Captain America movie. This isn't, like, Lars von Trier's One Man Crew, guys; some of the best and most memorable PVP vids have pretty much been bandicam footage sped up 2x with Linkin Park thrown on top.

I guess I just feel bad for all the guys that have had to wait nearly a full year for the public to see their sick frags. Whatever, in the end it doesn't even matter

I just got home and it has completed rendering. Compression is now in progress estimated to take 3 and a half hour.

I agree with you that we bit off more than we could chew. I had no idea how immense the work would be and if I knew that in advanced I would probably have limited it abit and recruited some editing helpers right away.

However comparing it with movies like Captain America is wrong. Remember that this was done by a couple of nerds in their sparetime rather than a full professional crew that does it for living. There have been months where there have been limit progress simply because it was hard for me to set aside more than 2-3 hours per week.

Some of the most memorable PVP videos might have included simple editing. But that is for people like you who are into solo PVP and know all the basic. This project has a broad audience spanning from the hardcore group of PVPers, who have been trained by Garmon himself in his exile in Wales, to a bunch of random highsec and nullsec bears who doesn't know much about solo PVP but who might be inspired. For the former group the editing doesn't matter much, but for the latter group it is important to present it well.
