...and other hilarious clichés

I just LOVE the "what continental Europe thinks of the UK" part. It is... so true... P

I enjoy Alex Sailó's videos, books and commentary, very funny and insightful.

This one is very much relevant these days: meet the Vampirus Ibéricus in its natural habitat. (it's in Spanish though)

Very rarely can I sit through an EVE session without one side starting a rant against the other. Part of the reason I love EVE is because I get to play with people from all over the world. I'm an American, in the interest of full disclosure.

Most Americans forget that Europe exists. There's England, France, and a bunch of other countries. We were recently reminded that Scotland exists, but we'll forget again.

I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.

I assume people view us in the standard way you would view people this ignorant.

Big problem with the USA is that you don't get any useful info from the outside world. You have undoubtedly the shittiest news networks on the planet outside of North Korea.

They are a business like any other - providing the news that Americans will find interesting. This does not include the rest of the world besides the bits that scare us, like ISIS, North Korea, Iran, and France.

We get our news from the same place as everyone else, Reuters and AP. Even BBC has pulled most of it's correspondence offices fro more dependence on the aforementioned news sites. And speaking of BBC, it got's it's reputation when England was still an Empire and the US was still isolationsits. We are late to the game. The only truly international news org we have was CNN, then they beacame the Clinton News Network and lost it. Now all they do is "Let's see what's going on on twitter" and 2 hours of Wolf "Where's my martini?" Blitzed-er. And if anyone thinks any station that hires Al Sharpton as a prime time commentator isn't slant is out of their frickin' minds!!! And yes, I know Fox is Conservative bent, and I don't have problem with that. In a sea of liberal news sites, one conservative news site shouldn't be threat to liberalism as it actually is.

The problem is we have an over satruation of 24 hours news that only contains one hour of actual news from Reuters and AP, and 23 hours of slanted commentators pretending to be centrists. The problem with Europe is an under saturation, where only one view is being shown, so you think everyone thinks that way.

Edit: P.S.
