Comes out to around 280 DPS from the missiles and then 660-680 adding sentries or heavy drones.

Cap stable, slow as hell but the missiles reach anywhere.

IT'S THE AMARR SHIP I ALWAYS WANTED AFTER I LEARNED TO FLY AN ARBITRATOR

Warden II x5 (OR Curator x5)
Garde II x5
Ogre II x4
Hobgoblin II x5

NOTES:
- This is only a template... if you do not have the necessary skills to fit Tech 2 then drop down to something you can use.

- The tactic with this is simple; grab aggro, align towards an empty area, micro jump drive out there, drop sentries, pick off the NPCs as they come towards you. Rinse and repeat until all NPCs are dead.

- If you are taking more damage than your repper can handle then you are "too close" and need to MJD away.

- Swap out long range sentries so you more or less have the right damage type for taking out NPCs (Curators for Amarr, Blood Raiders, and Sansha... Wardens for everything else).

- Just like with the long range sentry drones, swap out the armor hardeners based on the NPCs you will face during a mission.
HINT 1: NPCs will deal the damage type they are weakest against.
HINT 2: You can find out what NPCs you will engage against in the mission briefing. If none are listed, then you are facing NPC Mercs and should fit for thermal and kinetic damage.

- The Ogres are there when you encounter NPCs you don't have to MJD away from... light drones are there for "point defense" against NPC frigates. Do not let either engage out too far (keep within 15km)!!! If the NPCs engage your drones you will have to pull them in.

- you can swap out the Omnidirectional Tracking Link for a Sensor Booster if you are having trouble getting aggro NPCs beyond your targeting range.
HINT: the Mobile Depot is your friend and will allow you to refit on the fly!

You obviously missed my recent post about Cap Flux Coils. There exists no situation in the game where their use is actually beneficial, at least not one that I've found.

I admire your notion of a shield-tanked, missile-spewing, Amarrian drone boat and I've toyed with such a build myself. The 'Geddon is a remarkably versatile ship, and it's easily one of my favorite to fly. However, I feel your execution is rather lacking.

1. You committed the #1 sin of mission running builds and built for cap stability. No no no. Generally speaking, higher DPS will keep you alive longer than a better tank because you can reduce incoming DPS faster.

2. You've focused your damage where your ship isn't strongest. Using drone damage mods will provide better DPS because they will stack beneficially with the drone damage bonus of the hull. Think of the launchers on your 'Geddon as secondary weapons. (Not to mention, they use less CPU and you're going to be tight on that.)

3. Your sentry drone usage will be limited by range, which seems a shame given the range on your launchers. You will either need one or more Omnidirectional Tracking Enhancers in your lows, or, if you decide to switch to an armor tank, Omnidirectional Tracking Links in your mids. (Side note: A Dominix would come in handy here because of it's drone range bonus, but it lacks the ability to fit launchers.)

4. If you're going to stick with the shield tank, consider switching to an ancillary XL booster. You have a large cargo hold and some issues with cap stability, use the former to help out with the latter. (I personally don't like them for missions, but others I know swear by them.)

5. Consider fitting a large Energy Vampire or two. With the 'Geddon's range bonus, and the fact that NPC ships have unlimited cap, that could go a long way towards helping with your cap issues.

Assuming perfect fitting skills and T1 weapons (based on your post) and catering to a laser-based mission, this is what I come up with:

Pseudoelectron Containment Field I
Omnidirectional Tracking Enhancer II
Omnidirectional Tracking Enhancer II
Omnidirectional Tracking Enhancer II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II

X-Large Clarity Ward Booster I
Limited 'Anointed' EM Ward Field
Limited 'Anointed' EM Ward Field
Limited Thermic Dissipation Field I

'Arbalest' Cruiser Launcher I
'Arbalest' Cruiser Launcher I
'Arbalest' Cruiser Launcher I
'Arbalest' Cruiser Launcher I
'Arbalest' Cruiser Launcher I
Heavy Diminishing Power System Drain I
Heavy Diminishing Power System Drain I

Drones, missiles, hardeners, and rigs to suit. Rig ideas could include shield (increase resists, decrease booster cap usage, etc.), cap regen, etc. I'd shy away from missile rigs due to the CPU issues.

It all fits with 0.25 CPU to spare, will tank 402 incoming DPS for a bit over 3 minutes (barely 2 without the NOS), and does 826 DPS out to 30km assuming Garde Is and faction missiles. Range/damage tradeoff changes with sentry drone selection, and your damage potential goes up considerably with T2 heavy and sentry drones.

Is this the ideal mission runner? Not really. It's slow, all but requires T2 large drones to reach full damage potential, and your tanking options are severely limited. The armor tanking fit that ShahFluffers came up with above is far more practical. But it could be really fun, and it's hard to deny that the 'Geddon is one cool looking ship to run missions in.

Let us know how it works out.

EDIT: Something to keep in mind is that the Arbitrator, in spite of it's drone damage bonus, is technically an EWAR cruiser, which means that it's going to favor midslots and CPU moreso than other Amarr Cruisers. The 'Geddon, as a combat battleship, doesn't have these benefits so it can't be shield tanked as easily or effectively.

Oh you guys.

I was incredibly bored barely surviving inc DPS from large encounters in level 4 missions with an armor tank (maxed out skills in that department), this active shield tank while a slow boat has never run into trouble yet can tank roughly 500-900 DPS depending on the faction attacking.

I had previously specialized exclusively in Large Pulse lasers and melting everything but am currently finishing off my drone and missile skills and this is just a fun way to try out the Amarrian changes.

Thank you all for your suggestions my only regret is not fitting a MWD.
