Show Other Players' Networks?

Apologies if this has been asked (and/or answered) before (a search on "networks" didn't turn up an answer).

When I click "Show other players' networks", nothing happens.

Am I just the luckiest person in the world, and there are no other players' networks on my chosen planets, or is this feature not working or could there be some problem with my install?

Thanks in advance!

You only see the command centers, they are fairly easy to miss, look closer, or there just might not be anyone else on the planet in question. Ps: by clicking the command center you can see the rest of their structures too.

How small can they be? I've checked something like 20-30 planets and never see anything on them, but I'll look harder this evening after work.

I don't suppose anyone has a screenshot somewhere where I could get some idea of what I should be looking for?

Haven't tried recently, but I used to set the scan so the planet was entirely white, so the CCs would stand out.

That seems like a good idea, too. I'll try that.

They're smaller than your own command center and a slight gray. So they're very easy to miss.

This is by far the best way to get them to stand out more.

Once you click on the command center, it will then "pop up" the rest of the colony. Could be far from the Command Center also.

^^ This. Once the planet is entirely white, you can see other command centers on the planet. Still takes a bit of looking though.

IIRC...
-Right-Click on the CC and there's a context menu that'll tell you who's it is.
-Left-Click and you can see their network but not what the structures are doing.

Cheers for that, I've always thought there was no-one out there as well, I'll have to look harder next time. Shocked

Big thank you to everyone who responded to my questions.

Turns out I just wasn't looking hard enough. Now I see those networks.

Thanks again!
