Die with ship

As CCP is pushing towards making dying cost free if you had no implants, there isn't really any reason for me to want to launch my pod when my ship dies if I'm in no implant clone.

So, give us the option to go down with our ships.

Except lots of people aren't in no-implant clones.

Also, getting podded even without clones will set you back to your start facility. This can be especially unfortunate for wormhole dwellers.

What exactly would this add to the game? Because all I'm seeing are downsides. If you really wanna die with your ship, stick around after the fight and I'm sure your opponent will be happy to oblige.

I'm going to agree with Jur Tissant. If you want to die with your ship, hang around and it will be arranged in very short order.

You could simply self-destruct.

Otherwise, no real reason to add this... since self-destruct is already in the game.

Additionally, most people will take care of your pod state if you simply don't warp off. Trust me.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

But fear not, dweller into the unknown, Thera is coming Big smile

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Yes, that's why it should be just an option. Preferably thing that you would select from your Jump Clone page for every jump clone, to avoid accidental suicides.

In situation where I don't lose anything by just going down with the ship, why the hell I wouldn't want to go down with the ship and be in next as fast as possible?

Well, at larger scale fights at the future, they don't. I predict that we will be in a quirky situation that when your ship dies your tables turn; enemies hope that your POD survives as long as possible and your own fleet tries to shoot you so that you can reship as fast as possible.

I just want the honorary option to die with my ship instead of ******** POD launch and then self-destruct while hoping that some team mate can give me one volley.

Confirming this. Just ask in local. They will happily pod you. I have saved many a long trip back to provi this way.

Get older and you will notice that a pod kill (even without any implants included) will cost you a lot of ISK.

If this was aimed for me, yes, they cost now. But CCP is changing that in the next patch.

I just want to make the whole process more streamlined instead of escaping ship explosion only to activate pod selfdestruct and hoping that someone will shoot me.

This was once honorable action to take when your ship sunk, I think it's time to give us the same option.
