As also written in other threads Crucible is a bit more resource hungry.
Since the release 1 client is ok, but 2 definately is not.
I have an amd 4850e (2 cores,2.5GHz), 4G ram and a single 8800gt card.

If you have 2 clients of this size smoothly running, what do you have?
I suspect it is not the graphics but the cores and memory that is the limit.

I just got mine running smoothly, upgraded from similar to yours.
Had: AMD x2 5000 (3ghz x2), 4GB Ram, Nvidia 260
Now: AMD Athlon II x4 (3.5Ghz x4), 6GB Ram, Nvidia 260

Went from 20-30fps per client, to maxing out at 60fps most of the time. It really was the cores, the extra ram didn't help much as long as I wasn't hitting swap space (by using other software)

Sorry, both my clients are 1920x1080 not 1920x1200.

Thanks. As I wrote in the other thread, extra RAM and tweaking screen refresh seemed to help.
