Macbook pro retina and eve in windowed mode

Just got a brand new 13" macbook pro retina and would love to be able to play some eve on it.

When pvping, i usually use my other computer but it would be very hand to do some industry, shopping and skillqueueing on the laptop.

The problem i have is with the retina display. The launcher is opened in some kind of low resoultion mode, it's pretty huge and takes up almost the entire screen. When i launch the game in fullscreen mode i can use all the resolution up to 2650xsomething resolution.

When i start it in windowed mode, however, at 1024x768 resolution, the window takes up the entire screen.

Is there a way around this? I would love to run windows in higher resolution and be able to run a few clients at the same time.

I fixed this by raising the resolution. I think it has something to do with the scaling. :)

If you have this issue, just set it to windowed mode and try the different resolutions to see what fits you. Higher resolution does not result in a larger window at all time, because of the scaling involved.
