Some of the most impressive piloting I've ever seen. Makes me want to fly a slicer again :). I find it really interesting how we have a totally different approach to kiting. You like to dance around them while I just fly in a straight line back and forth maximizing dps. No wonder we're always getting seperated from each other when duoing...

Now I know.

Great video OP, I just wish it showed where you were clicking in space to do that.... I'm gonna have to give that a shot.

I kite a lot like your way of zipping back and forth but I welp way too often doing it. I suck I guess :P

what should be the definitive guide on slicer 1vX play - no lazy orbit commands here (I don't think I see it once, which is quite possibly a first for any frigate video in the history of this game), just precise, well-reasoned, and above all, confident piloting.

1.5X speed might be slightly better, but it is a matter of taste - I didn't mind too much.

glad my bitterness towards this game didn't really ever infect you, this was really quite a nice watch, nomad pls

any chance of the raw fraps of you dying in a fire in interesting engages? no particular need for editing

Very powerful manual piloting there! It was propably the first frigate only pvp video I enjoyed watching. If you focus bit more on the editing side of the video. that kind of content could easily make it to "solo frig 101" video.

Awesome man, just simply awesome!

Clearly inferior to NightmareX's latest masterpiece.

-Actual piloting skill is demonstrated

-The OP does not sit still outside of DPS optimal

-No Falcons are used

-Superior numbers against inferior foes not used

Extremely nice flying there mate.

Really nice video, this is a really great video for would-be slicer pilots. The amount of clever manually piloting you do here is amazing. Loved the music too.

Probably the best manual piloting I have seen in eve. Great job.

Very nice video. Inspirational for those of us who aren't nearly as skilled with the slicer. :)

Yes! I have a file (that is filling larger and larger) with failed fraps. I will throw something together of the raw footage sometimes. Its not pretty.

Highlights include:

1. Suddenly Artillery
2. 9k/s Malediction
3. 5k/s Malediction
4. gatecamps (the instalocking 90% web kinds)
5. Ramming an enyo
6. And many, many more.

It's definitely something we will look forward to.

Feathering is new to me and I think there are many other who doesn't know the concept either. So anything that goes into details about it would be really really appreciated.

Good piloting and nice video, but I just have something to mention that I noticed.

In the first fight you are battling with a interceptor, slicer, and some other stuff, you end up warping off and when it cuts back to the action it is clear that you had gone to a station to rep up before you went for a second try; but in the video, you say simply : I warp off to a belt for round 2 ; - this was simply not the case.

It`s not a big deal but I think you should be completely honest with your audience. I`m not saying you did it on purpose, it was probably just a mistake on your end, but thought I would let you know.

Peace.

While generally not a fan of kiting frigate pvp of any kind, let me say that I stared dumbfounded at that first fight in sv5 at the precision piloting and amazing tactics displayed. I have never seen such carefree and focused piloting in any video I have ever seen.

I usually roll my eyes at frigate pvp videos but this really deserves praise. The slicer takes a lot of skill to manage (range and especially cap) and your piloting really did the ship justice. Top notch mate!
