What skills to train on char to be sold?

When I wanted to return to Eve I accidentally activated the wrong account.
My mistake, I'm stupid and all that.

But now I would like to know if I can train this char towards something usefull in 3 months, and then get a some ISK from a Character sale?

Is 3 months enough for a new char to valuable?
What skills should I go for?
What will the value of the char be in the end?

Atm, the char is only at 880k skill points, gallente combat start. It was a trial account I played shortly the last time I tried Eve again

For anyone to be interested in buying a toon that only has ~4 million SP the toon will need to be highly specialized. And 4 million SP isn't enough to really do all that much as far as specialization goes. You might be able to sell the guy as a market alt, research alt, or freighter alt. However anything you can train into in three months someone else can train their own alt into in the same time frame. Truly valuable toons take time to train up. That's what makes them valuable. And three months just isn't enough time IMO.

My recommendation would be to train for a gank catalyst, join CODE, and have some fun with the character. You might end up having so much fun that you make this guy your main.

tengu pilots seem to do well in the character bazaar.. not sure if 3 months will get you to a proper skilled tengu pilot, ie all subs to 5, HML spec 4 and all the support skills to 4. I trained an already partially trained alt in to a tengu in I think it was 95 days with careful remaps, but he did have decent cap\navigation and other fitting\rig\T2 tanks skills already.

EDIT--- Rail tengu's a becoming a thing.. maybe train for that

... What next ??

Just send a petition to CCP telling them you activated the wrong account and they may be able to fix it for you.

The cost to do a transfer on a 3 months character is not worth it.. cost 2 PLEX to do a transfer.

I generally do 6 month subs on my characters I sell. That gives you somewhere in the 10-12m SP region. That's enough to get all the support skills to 4, train racial frigate, destroyer and cruiser to 5 and get all the weapon specs to 4.

What you're selling then is a character that is ready to jump in to logistics, t3s, FW, WHs, .... These used to go between 4-5 bill but It's been a while since I've sold any, ie months.

Making use of the power of 2 special is good for making toons for selling. throw in some plus 4 implants, careful mapping and some cerebral accelerators and after 6 months you will have a decent toon to sell.

First of all, this may indeed work.

Another idea... I believe CCP now give 10 days free activation to any old character (check your other account), so you could also transfer the character to your current account, for the price of 2 PLEX... Which would be in a way cheaper for you than to spend 3 PLEX for activation of another account.

4m SP is a very poor character no offence, if you plan to sell it get to 8-10m at least.

Unless you really hate your character then get some small profit from it.

Notice PLEX prices are getting higher and higher, this pushes up the character prices.
