Additional Int/Mem Skills for Orca/Hauler

Hey folks,

I'm just about finished with INT / MEM on my Orca Boost Hauler Alt. I just wanted to get some opinions if there are any other skill recommendations (fitting or otherwise) that are Int/Mem before I remap to for the Ship command skills.

Here is the eve board: http://eveboard.com/pilot/Chinsuko_Orlenard PW: 123456

I plan to Max Indy Command Ship, then T2 Indy (DST/BR), lastly freighter. So with those ships in mind, any advice on additional Int/Mem skills (or level) would be greatly appreciated.

You have no drone skills, which you might want to consider depending on if your next remap would be more beneficial for that.

* Shield Management 5
* Shield Operation 5
* Cloaking 3+ [Optional]

Unless you are using a POS for reprocessing, you may want to look into reprocessing skills (mem > int).

It might be easier to tell my story to give you ideas...

For what it is worth, my shadow (follows me everywhere) has a job of making my life easier. He's 2 months younger than me.

He started off by hauling for me when I mined (first in a Coercer and later in Bestower, which eventually lead to freighters, Orca and Rorqual), and salvaging for me when I did missions. Salvaging was pre-Noctis, which meant the Hurricane battlecruiser was arguably the best salvage ship (most cargo), and I also later used it for exploration in w-space sites.

Since drones are his only weapon system, he specializes in drone boats, which led to Gallente and Gurista (=Gallente + Caldari) ships, and to some extent Amarr ships (Khanid). This made grinding standing, for reprocessing tax reduction, much easier.

His training progressed organically as needed, and includes (not in order of training):
* Boosting (Orca, Rorqual, Command Ships)
* Mining (because you may be in a fleet that already has boosters and haulers, or a really small fleet making a Retriever / Mackinaw a better choice).
* Reprocessing.
* Basic Research and Manufacturing (lacks science skills for anything advanced).
* PI.
* Salvaging.
* Exploration (archeology & Hacking).
* Trade (selling looted, harvested, and manufactured stuff).
* Hauling (Industrials, Transports, Freighters, Jump Freighters).
* Starbase Defense.
* Logistics (an extension of Starbase Defense = repair)
* Black Ops bridging (goes along with having jump drive skills for the Rorqual, which also leads to jump freighters).
Probably more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

He had a general attribute mapping for much of his life, and only recently (for Crius) remapped to mem > int to train reprocessing. A general mapping allowed him to hop-around training different skills as needed. Example of a character that has only ever had a general mapping, and started down a similar path after initially being a mining-only character; note that it hasn't really hurt long-term SP gain.

In EVEMon you can go to the Skill Browser and filter all skills by attribute. Look at all the skills that primary with Intelligence (and maybe Memory) and see if there are any you want to train before making a change.
