I need to find something to cry about with this change Twisted but it's so hard.

Amazingly well done. I can't see any changes left to the Neural Remaps that would improve them. And in such a short timeframe.

How is it determined which character on the account will get the remap? It doesnt seem likely to be done via a redeem items

The fact that you're guessing is why Id kind of like clarificaton on it, Im currently training some skills on alts and would hate for them to get the remap

The post mentioned that the remap would enter the redemption system. So Same way you make sure your item gifts go to your jita alt.

Thanks for the remap gift ! Now i can finally finish training my drone skills ...

Btw can you one day make those remaps as redeemable items, that can be traded between players (clicking on it and using it, like a PLEX, grants the remap) ? I'd like to buy some of those from others Bear

turns out that i choose the christmas gift a little bit early and can,t change it anymore

To be clear, I am not mad, not upset, and I would like to take advantage of the offer, but knowing the rules is part of the deal. I can change training for a week until I can claim it on the account I want if needed, or whatever is necessary. If it goes to the character with the most SP, I won't be selecting it. I won't be mad if i cant use the remap and have to select something else as long as the rules are clear ahead of time.

no. you have to choose your gift BEFORE DT on 22 December 2011. During DT, you will get whatever you picked (faction ammo, remap, destroyer, random ship, etc). Then on the 22nd (and probably for a week or two afterwards), the new shiny will be able to be redeemed.

Can I just ask where the information supplied by the previous poster is available? I found the gift through the account management page and there is no mention of this at all. I've wasted an hour or so trying to figure out why the remap I selected has not been applied. Now according to the previous poster it won't be applied for a week or so. So where is that information and why isn't it immediately obvious for those who found the gift info in the account management pages like I did?

Unless CCP want to be swamped with petitions I suggest they make that info available in the blog and linked obviously from the gift choice page.

Another quick question: Which character on the account gets the gift remap?

If it's the toon with the active skill queue, then maybe I should postpone training that cyno alt with one of my backup character slots...

Am I wrong in thinking that this gift has been done VERY quietly?

I would've thought a news or devblog about it in general would be in order. - For myself I found out about it by accident though another player.
