Exactly the best way to deal is to completely ignore and wait for someone to claim the bounty.

I fully support this...just keep posting as usual, avoid the flame wars and personal attacks, and show a higher level of maturity. I hope this means you guys have turned over a new leaf and are ready to post constructively.

Or

Gevlon Belvar?

Self important? Check.
No space friends? Check.
Don't "get it"? Double check.

Same guy? Most likely.

I am sorry, but I have to disagree here.

Gevlon uses ingame mechanics and wealth to try to influence the game. No matter how misguided his ideas may be, he has my respect for that, he is a gamer and not a pure forum whiner like Veers.

Gevlon creates content for Goons...he actually makes them stronger...a giant fail. I engage on the forums, the opposite of content, and eventually these folks get tired of their blue donut and try to make the game more interesting.

How are the forums the opposite of content? Please explain further your position on this.

It doesn't give Goons anything interesting to do. Fighting them in game gives them a purpose and fun, which motivates them to keep the boring status quo going. Denying them in game content, for example by engaging them on the forums, creates boredom, and shows them why the blue donut needs to go.

I disagree, engaging them on the forums provides entertainment and keeps them interested in the game. You have to remember, I highly doubt they ever choose not to log in because there is something good happening on the forum. They are on the forum when there is nothing going on in the game, or when they are at work and not able to log in anyways. Forum content is still content.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce any of it, even in C&P, without violating the forum rule:

7. Discussion of real life religion and politics is prohibited.

Discussion of real life religion and politics is strictly prohibited on the EVE Online forums. Discussions of this nature often creates animosity between forum users due to real life political or military conflicts. CCP promotes the growth of a gaming community where equality is at the forefront. Nationalist, religious or political afiliations are not part of EVE Online, and should not be part of discussion on the EVE Online forums.

Vast majority of Goons are not on forums.....if eve gets boring...goons quit and do something else. Ergo anything that makes eve interesting for goons, mainly pew pew, makes them stronger.

I won't argue with the forum whiner point... But goblins understanding of game mechanics? No way brother.

His whole blog page devoted to active tanked mining titans...

His total lack of concept why people would use bombers instead of cap fleets to pop structures...

Yeah man goblin doesn't know anything about EVE other than the money aspect.

Edit: but he DOES try to accomplish goals... So I suppose I can see your point.

What goes does he "try" to accomplish exactly? Destroying goons? taking over the world? I mean, it's all a farce, there are no real goals, and no real hope for success either.

Absolutely right. But he has set a goal (however lofty or unatainable as it may be) and he does whatever his little mining titan focused mind can do to get there.

He is pretty terrible, but at least he isn't a Nerf monger.

If someone could refer to me to whatever link for this -- I would like to keep making donations like this via other person for when I am not active in game.

I am also Sponsor for Clause Cause -- Donated Many fun faction frigs for prizes.

Newbies getting killed is supposed to happen. Getting blown up is a totally normal part of the game. I'm not sure what is so incredibly difficult to understand about that idea.

Playing the EvE sandbox he does.
Since he obviously makes a lot of isk, he reinvests them to create content.

If its pro/con goons does not realy matter.

Experienced players concentrating an Newbies might get a problem.
Thats a sad story.
One killing a certain newb over and over again is sadder.
The recurring kill to sell a permit to newbs is harrasment.
