Sansha jacket in-game?

So, horribly vain person here. I'm wondering. How is the Sansha jacket entering the game? Because they're not available via the NES, but there are certainly a few on the market already.

Are they being offered as part of a marketing deal? Or are they entering the game some other way?

While secondary to Rhea news, inquiring minds want to know. ;)

Apparently, through the buddy invite gift once the buddy account is converted to a subscribed account.

Maybe something about it being a certain length of subscription too, but not certain of that.

Definitely get it from a marketing standpoint, Steve. Just somewhat an issue for those of us who have specific faction interests, because some factions' gear may appear by more restricted methods. ;) I know some Sansha RPers were going, 'uh, wtf?' when they saw Sansha jackets enter the market at painful prices, whereas the others have appeared via NES.

Yes, at the moment they are related to buddy invites. I have no idea if they will be put in the NES later or not. Some people are saying the subscribed buddy invite has to be at a certain length in order to get them. When I tested it with a buddy invite that turned into a three month subscription, I was offered the Catalyst skin pack, game time, or a PLEX. A friend told me it had to be a six month or higher invite. I haven't been able to confirm that.

I also haven't been able to confirm how the InterBus one will be put in yet.

I have one. Upgrade a trial +1y of game time for 99.99EUR.
Bonus ingame content that comes with the offer: Sansha jacket (M/F) and 2 camo prosthetics.

EDIT: You HAVE to get the 1 year sub with your upgrade. Any shorter period, will not get you the same bonus content.

I just looked around and found no Crusher Green Camo LEFT version, you say it comes with 2 prosthetics? Im guessing the other one is the left one? Why are none of them on the market?

I asked support about it and they said its currently not available on NES nor market. They then told me its from the trial upgrade promotion. I would really like the arm, but I dont know if its worth 6/12 mo trial upgrade. And why are these promotions so damn secretive?

Also now looking at the trial promotion, the picture indicates 1 male and 1 female prosthetic. If this is the case Im quite sure the promotion comes with Crusher Green Camo Right only and no Left. Can anyone confirm?

I dont care for the jackets, I just want the Green Camo left arm prosthetic. Just got a reply from support that the promotion only comes with the right arm. So yeah, I wonder if the left arm will ever be released :O

yeah I logged to look at the prices in jita. they're cheap. if they were in sets at that price, i'd outfit 3 males in them.

Re: prices, in the month and change since, the Sansha jackets have dropped notably. At the very beginning, they were about 1b, and toward the conclusion of the discussion 500m-ish. Odds are this'll end up like the Ishukone sterling shirts, however; they were fairly cheap in the wake of the promotion, but nowadays can't be had for under 3b. :x This is unless CCP does the 'timed exclusive' thing and releases the Sansha jacket via other means. But it's worth noting that not all timed exclusives actually see release, which is why we see the sleeve tattoos varying so much in price.
