Fozzie has claimed that policies haven't changed, however the multiboxer community would like to disagree.

Why would CCP want to ENCOURAGE more multibox ganking? The fact that some victims are getting reimbursed suggests they are unhappy with it, but don't know how to properly tackle it.

It represents a real imbalance between players. You can't fight multiboxing without doing it yourself, which forces the hand of people to pay RL money to compete through their own accounts. The solution of "bring friends" is a bit ridiculous if the multiboxer also brings his friends who also multibox. Short of paying for more accounts to do it yourself, it's a permanent imbalance gained through another player spending extra money in real life. That sounds pay to win. It's a problem for CCP because they want the sub money, and they have no good way of saying that it's bad for the game that won't rock the boat. After all, people with so many extra accounts pay the majority of Eve, not the people who only play one account. On the other hand, when this unfair scenario is easily detected by players with only one account, they will get pissed off and leave unless reimbursed. CCP knows this or they wouldn't reimburse.

Kudos for providing the hilarious km and screen shot. Hope that deals effectively with the people saying its just rumors.

That picture means nothing. He could have easily lost another ship due to the servers taking a dump. There is nothing in that mail that links that reimbursement to that vindicator that was ganked. From there, there is no proof that the reimbursement was because the people doing the ganking were even using isboxer, or because of something else.

They do not reimburse for isboxing, I've spoken to replicator many times on teamspeak and he has never heard of reimbursement, it seems to be just a rumour

i didnt realize that running 5 client without isboxer was something that hurt your feelings ?

also im not tinker hell but i however do often feild 4 client at the same time agaisnt your "fleets" lol ?

does that mean everytime you die you want to get re imburrsed i just think you are a little but hurt :=)

20 minutes from getting killed to reimbursement? Na man, fake.

noone can multibox more than 3 clients at same time in combat. And even that is already very hard to do.
I think CCP is very well able to recognize isbotters reliably, technically (click speed and click positions across clients) and visually.

Multiboxing is fine as such but not in automated manner like provided by isbotter, use of such tools should be punished with temp ban and permanent ban on 2nd attempt.
