I see there have been some posts on this but all have been locked with no resolution.
I have had this with old ATI card and new.
Brand new. Dual boxing on dual monitors on both occasions.

When it occurs, it happens when a ship explodes, Just move the just exploded ship off screen and the white goes away, move it back on screen and the white out returns.
If the ship is in the centre the whiteout takes up the whole screen, if to one side only half the screen. It corrects it self after 30 seconds.
This only occurs on the monitor the explosion occurs on. The other monitor is fine. Of course it's the other way round should the explosion occur on the other monitor.

Seems this has been occurring for the past year and no fix.
Turning off ship explosions is no fun.

This only occurs on Eve and only with ships explosions only on the monitor where it happens.

The card I have has 2GB RAM, 1Ghz GPU, with graphic at near full settings on Eve dual boxing with 2 monitors GPU load varies between 50% to 90% depending if there are clouds or not.

Hi I'm having the same problem, it's exactly as you described it.

I had something different only once on a ship explosion some sort of giant white explosion picture appeared, when I zoomed out I could see it entirely, its size was about 500km and it was rotating.

AMD HD5870 1GB RAM latest drivers. Eve on middle quality settings.
