Stealth Bomber(s) fitting for extended WH exploration/roaming

I am currently in a bit of a exploration and also roaming mode, and I was looking at cheaper ships that would be interesting to try out some not quiet cookie-cutter fits on for the purpose of HS-to-WH space expeditions (not the missions) in which would involve solo as well as small gang roams, extended periods and perhaps being for some degree of days or weeks spend in WHs at a time.

The ships I am looking at are the 4 SB hulls, with this idea basically:

1. it has to be able to be stealthy (check) and also has to be able to probe (can do with reasonable use of skills and upgrades) in one mode of operation.
2. it has to be able to carry enough ammo, a mobile depot (for reconfiguring) a repper for armor and a repper for hull (used for that emergency repping in some safe-spot, and nano-paste as well.
3. it has to have a good hitting punch, and be able to tackle (check) and it should be able to run a exploration relic or data site just for fun as well (so a cargo scanner, hacker and analyzer).

Seems like these four hulls while not optimized for it are able to do it well enough to make it a good all around choice for this.

So I was wondering has anyone else done similar? or in null or low instead? how long where you able to keep your "space sub" on station waiting to use the torpedoes, and what other interesting side-activities did you do to pass the time while waiting around for someone to come into the hole?

You wont be able to run data/relic sites in a SB (not until they introduce the null ones in whs anyway) sleepers will eat u.

SBs can be fun but you are really limiting what you will be able to kill. Astero or stratios are also good, although they are more expensive hulls. As are of course T3s.

Cant rememeber off hand the cargo capacity of a bomber but i doubt you will be able to go for weeks with what it can carry.

In principal your idea is good but bombers might not be the best choice.

I don't need twitter. I'm already following you.

stealth bomber wont be able to hack sleeper sites it will go down very fast use t2 cruiser . instead.
t3 hull or stratios is too expensive if you lose one howewer non expensive hull capable to survive sleepers and hack is gnosis but its very "soft"

You can use a SB in a wh for pvp and for scanning, that's it. They're still fun to solo in WH space though. You can carry analyzers for times you find null or LS connections, and you can hack there. The armor reps are likely unnecessary, since a SB in WH space is usually 100% alive after PVP or 100% a wreck, however, I'm a all in type of pilot.

You're young, you'll adjust. I'm old, I'll get used to it.

Thanks for the input, I came to the same conclusion on SISI - pvp and scanning - which is ok, maybe just try that, I have a number of regular WH spawns in my constellation regularly, and this might be the perfect past-time - blank or cheap clone, scan down, jump in, scan around, and have some GF if I can find one, and worst case, I pop and end up back at my station ready for the next thing.

Question pre-pass, what are the most common rigs, LS, and MS, you all use - I am seeing some people suggest rigors with torps, seems logical but figured I would ask, given the CPU it's a bit of work to fit it seems but I am not opposed to using +3/3% implants in a possible throw away clone.

Also, I have been looking at speed options for a speed/sig tank over additional DPS, since most things I might want to kill, DPS is not the key factor, since one volley may well kill it - it's more lock, point and orbit.. so would a traditional prop, scram, web, and then lows and rigs for speed work, or should I go for damps, TPs, and then DPS mods?

Probably the best for cheap solo hunting. Solos BCs/ABCs and shieldtanked BS. Beware of sleeperaggro.

For exploration, you want a completely different vessel.

Now this would be ideal for me as I use a Purifyer to explore with, or a similar fit as this one is.
