Hello everyone,

Thank you to the designer of genius who have programmed mod!

I have a problem when viewing the fit [evefit] [/ evefit], pictures are below each other ...

But I take the ingame browser and copy to clipboard and paste it into my forum ...

I went through the 53 pages of this topic, and found no solution to my problem, is that someone could help me?

The reason is probably the mod beeing not installed correctly for your skin. Either try applying the mod to your style again or copy the eveapi_fitting.js to your styles template folder.

I have installed the API mod and when a user tried to enter his API, he got

Quote:
General Error

SQL Error [mysqli]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use " near line 4 [1064]


Any ideas why?

First of all, great work. I have followed and tried this solution for some time. Over the years I have learned that most problems come out of users own side. Like example: Does your web server even allow outbound connections. Same goes with all the SQL, PHP and so on errors. Also some errors come out of CCP side as their API server is not always top notch.

Speaking of it, I have a suggestion.
Is it possible to add feature ( You can activate or disable it ) that it wont disable forum user on first API call! As sometimes it seems to think that player is out of Allowed users and disables it. But does not automatically enable it when getting new info. Or is this issue out of my own noobness. Cheers and all the best!

Hi Cyerus, noticed today that our forums have stopped managing jabber access. I think this happened when the user service plugin was updated to 2.0.2. Do you have any insight into this? In the mean time, I'm going to try reverting to the previous version of the plugin (assuming I can find the jar download)

I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to setting up and configuring this stuff. While I was able to get ejabberd integration to work, I could never figure out how to get OpenFire integration to work with this mod and the user service plugin. If someone could maybe write up a detailed guide as to how to configure this with OpenFire, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just upgraded to 6.3.1 and the Cronjob settings have disappeared. All my special users, Directors, Recruiters, etc, all are stripped, and the API mod strips extra groups with each cron job run. Have I missed a piece of documentation?

Had the same issue, solved by changing a line in
includes/eveapi/OpenFireUserService/OpenFireUserService.php

Line 47
set to: 
'useCurl'   => false,


The issue seems to originate from a problem with the curl implementation. Create or updated via the Openfire UserService via shell works fine but not by ModBB.

Same problem here. I get a 'RequestNotAuthorised' message from the 'User Service' with curl. If I set 'useCurl' to false in the 'OpenFireUserService.php' everything works again.

I tried the old User Service plugin version 1.4.3. No problem with curl. I guess it's a problem with the new plugin version 2.0.x. I already asked for help in the openfire forum. Lets see what they say.

So everything is fine now except that the [evefit] option doesn't recognize all items.

Just tried a fit with bulkhead rigs but evefit says "unrecognized item".

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix that?

You've got to add the item manually in MySQL in the following tables:

eveapi_ships
eveapi_items

I'm having a similar issue, if not the same, with the SE Gamer style. I've re-applied the mod to the style and I can confirm that the eveapi_fitting.js is present in the styles template folder but it's still hapening. I've tried refreshing themes, styles and purged the cache as well.

Is this hard to manually correct? I mainly code login scripts and batche files for servers at work and have a good basic understanding of coding...

Please disregard...Everything is now resoved. I started fresh, reinstalled automod and now when I apply the mod to the style it works great!!!

Can someone recommend a TS3 host that supports Server Query? My current one doesn't.

edit: found one, I'm having some issues with the server query though. When I run the cronjob I get this error:

12-08-2014 18:14:49 --- TeamSpeak error: 110 -> Connection timed out
12-08-2014 18:14:49 --- Quiting the cronjob, as no connection to the TeamSpeak 3 server could be made while TeamSpeak 3 Integration is enabled.

I tried changing the server query port to a wrong one for the hell of it, and I get a different error (111), so it seems to be doing *something*. I've tried changing the server query login/password a few times. Address/port/server query port/login info are definitely all correct.
