It started earlier today and has persisted on through out my day. I have terrible in game lag spikes , to the point where I disconnect from the server every few minutes. The lag and disconnects come usually when an area first loads, or I load new information on my screen, like the market information or my a chat winder (like jita local). I have been on and off voice comunications while this is all occuring (TS and skype) and I am not having any issues except in Eve.

I am wondering if anyone is experiencing these same problems or if anyone knows how this problem might be corrected on my end.

EDIT: I am in Ca. (USA)

I had this problem over the summer. It turned out to be the fact that I had a Docsis 2 cable modem and my area was running Docsis 3, but Comcast never upgraded my modem. Once they brought me a new modem everything has been solid. I was getting very minor, intermittent packet loss that most programs would handle no problem, EVE is rather touchy about packet loss.

To test, get pingplotter and run a trace to TQ, let it run for some hours, if you have packet loss throughout the route, then it's you, if it's only up near TQ, then it's them.

i had the same **** a while back realy annoying and i only had it in eve. realy exact same issue. after all it was a hub in my case i replaced it for a router and problem was solved. before that all went ok but eve i was like disco`d like 5 to 8 times in an evening

i cant seem to find my old topic its from a few months back.

what i remember is that Eve is real picky in the connection a small drop will not be noticed in a teamspeak conversation but wil drop your eve connection.

what is essential is how your connection is from modem to PC give us a good situation. and if possible try a direct connection with an cable from modem directly to your PC
