go away, kim. the mental bar here in a'j is much too high and the attitude far too -heh- "liberal," for your tastes.

Thanks, but I don't need remarks about "mental bars" from a tribal for whom even laying on ground mental bar would be too high.

and from this point on, this poor, simple-minded tribal will leave the judgement of your suitability to assist a'j in the capable hands of whomever is democratically elected into the relevant directoral positions.

though i am somewhat surprised that you would even consider serving. i would have assumed that any such organization would be considered anathema to you and worthy only of infiltration, subversion, and destruction.

oh, wait...

i bring that which you fear the most

Given that it's clear that the Arek'Jalaan symposium will not be doing exclusionary screening based on "Gallentean DNA" I feel it's best to drop this ridiculous topic of conversation, as continued discussion of it credits its originator with undeserved relevance.

Andreus Ixiris > A Civire without a chin is barely a Civire at all.

Pieter Tuulinen > He'd be Civirely disadvantaged, Andreus.

Andreus Ixiris > ...

Andreus Ixiris > This is why we're at war.

See, see, Mr. Sealbreaker?

Gallenteans are already getting mad and even make claim for whole societies, they don't even belong to.
Well, I didn't mean Arek'Jaalan, of course, because that part I am not sure with.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I've been living in a wormhole myself since Tukoss' departure. I am certainly interested in reviving my old projects, and potentially aiding a handful of other projects. I have no interest in leading a division, but from my perspective neither Project Catapult nor Project Tesseract were ever abandoned, I simply moved the research center to wormhole space. I am hopeful that Tukoss, when he comes back from his three-year detour, will finally get Eifyr to produce some results.

It's good to know this. I was always interested in Project Catapult on a personal level, and would enjoy meeting with you and the others involved at some point.

I fear it's a bit early to bet on Dr. Tukoss, but with or without him, the will to continue forward is here.

I said you'd regret it. And this is only the opening act! Just wait for the real show to start rocking the cluster.

Just get to the point where Tukoss sticks his head far enough out to meet the executioner's axe.

Screw that. Get to the point where something happens. Good or bad. I don't care. I'm sick of this farce of a Project and the control it tries to exhibit in the same of "caution."

Anslo, I'm no expert on upsetting people or undermining their credibility, but it seems to me like it would've been better to not announce what you had done. That way, you could've let people spend hours debating the ethics of the issue while to knowing yourself that it was all completely redundant and a meaningless waste of their time, then laughed at them publically when the other shoe dropped.

As it is now, they're probably just going to reorganize their priorities right away.

Holy ******* **** you give me way too much credit for planning things ahead of time Gwen. I appreciate it but **** I just wanted to do something and laugh at them.

But hey if they organize something, good for them.

After they debate the ethics of it.
And the feasibility.
And the reasons.
And who would lead it.
And who would fund it.
And then argue why the leader isn't good enough.
Then argue about Empires.
Etc, etc, etc.

...and the perceived "farce" of a single capsuleer organization is enough for you to do this?

Does it surprise you so much that a group of scientists ( and their supporters ) would want to try to learn something from a situation before it spirals out of control? Or perhaps /keep/ it from spiraling out of control by taking, what is in the grand scheme, a little extra time to move forward?

While I tend to respect and admire you, Anslo, as a man of decisive action, I find it hard to admire anyone who would put so many lives in danger for no other reason than a pique of spite.

And you were abandoned by the Republic, taken in by the Angel Cartel, taken back by the Republic after which I see that you, yourself, wound up flying for the Federation.

So how's that working out for you? Big smile

We never did get taken in by the Cartel, considering that our settlement was nowhere near any city, located at the edge of that part that is barely terraformed. As for the Republic, we had taken a wait-and-see approach and weren't impressed with how they handled things.

So we stayed put, wait for the dust to clear and salvage all the pieces to refurbish and trade.

As for why I'm flying for the Feds? Blood money. Plain and simple. There are things to shoot down, wrecks to plunder, and on top of it all, we are getting paid with trinkets that can be redeemed for something of actual value. Far as I hear it the place always has activity so that's why I moved operations there.

And the Amarr just had to kick the pendulum the other end by the time I had everything set up. Lousy timing that is. I suppose I could enjoy the change of scenery and have a taste of Gallente culture and a crack at the Vexors while I'm here.

Did... did you helped in delivering these items, potentially opening a Pandora's Box, because I mocked what I perceived as self-importance on your part?

I was quite expecting gatecamps, pointless shows of military superiority over my non-combatant associates, but this...
I need to think about this.

I'm genuinely impressed at the gross negligence on the part of this council in determining credible threat. Seems that pieces of tin and special hats have far more allure than realistic profiling of where you should be standing and who you should be shouting at.

The reasons to yell and bawl at individuals such as Anslo, who are by their nature abrasive and antagonistic, are many. They become fairly unimportant when such individuals hold a gun (or part of a gun) to the head of your vaunted sense of self-preservation and due process. Simply put, you have fallen victim to the hubris you accuse your opponent of possessing in this case.

My advice is to do away with this Covenant of Wishful Thinking and instead learn to act individually, cooperate when necessary and for the love of Ida learn to profile credible threats regardless of how they present themselves in text.

Any additional consultancy will be charged at the usual rates; ****-storm bunkers don't pay for themselves and the supply/demand curve is about to get skewed.
