The new trade window...

... is a horror, i don't understand why it was developed and how it got through testing.

I understand that peeps want to dump stuff to whatever order, I would never ever consider that. But if so just let them mark items menu - sell to best buy, fire forget, no window other than prompt.

The wrong problem is attempted to be solved.

The real problem is stupid implementation that sells to whatever fault price I might enter and that is not addressed. Example: I mess up my sell price for whatever blue adaptive... worth 500M, i set the price to 1 isk and it sells for 1 isk despite there being buy orders at 400M. Same goes for both buy and sell. Please good fix that instead. It is bad a hell in combination with those entry windows (new or old)

In the new horror window at least increase field length for the Ask Price field, try sell stuff worth 1B and up wo. copy past entry etc.

Also, the regional whatever price have always been another horror when doing market stuff. If if must be there at least set the color correct (green/red is a slight indicator that you are about to sell that adaptive item for 1 isk). The color is wrong at least when placing a buy order below that average, its red whilst it should be green in my book.

Please give me the old trade window when I trade item by item or an option to select window used.

And for god sake fix the real problem..

Obviously you didn't take part in the testing then Blink

It was up on SiSi for a fair time.

As for selling things at the price you set, that's how it's always been? In part, it's so you can sell to a whole bunch of orders, by setting the price to the lowest that will (in combination with all the ones above it) take care of all the items you wish to sell.

It's not a problem, it's how the market works. You tell your broker 'sell at this price' and it does so.

As much as I admire your work and your tools, I do not agree with you.

1. I'm a system developer since about 25 years and I do not work as a tester on my spare time.
2. I do not care if its been what way since forever, its wrong.

I see now that last patch fixed the field length.

I trade a lot and I go sad every time.
- I see someone selling to or buying from me for the wrong price. I can't refund or react to that since that income feed my own mistakes.
- I see bots cutting me all day every day 24h and the only ones not doing mistakes i the poor UI is bots.

There are warnings to tell you if you are about to buy or sell greatly something above or below the regional average.

Yes there are warnings, but regional price can be whatever (natural or manipulated) and is almost never of any use to validate an order.

And it don't matter there is not on time ever ever ever that its ok to sell my 500M worth item for 1 isk, when there is orders up for 400M.Regardless of how many warning are put out.

You may state that the broker should do whatever I tell it to do. But its wrong, I would fire a broker that sells me item for 1 isk after asking me 5 times if its ok. If he can sell it for 400M he should do it anyway and put the cash on my account. It simply don't matter, I could be drunk, part mental, anything, the broker should act. on my best.

I hope they at least pleease fix the color coding of green and red, which is somethig I use constantly as indicator that I have the right number of digits typed.

As it is right now, when creating a sell order at e.g. 800 million isk it shows one color, and when modifying a sell order for the same item to 800 million isk (yes same price), it shows the *opposite* color. Wth? That can only serve to bait people into making mistakes.

Change it back so that when selling, prices above market average are always green, and when buying the prices above market average glow red (because they are BAD for you lol).
