Issues with Launcher tonight

I am unable to launch the game. The launcher is greyed out. I am able to log in and see that 24k people are playing but the button to play never changes from the greyed out state. I've tried from several computers and there is nothing wrong with my connection to the internet or any of my settings. I'm not experiencing any issues with any other games or sites.

Ditto. The repair tool also seems to be broken for me - it gets stuck on initializing and won't move any further

Whelp. Reinstalling fixed it for me. Curious to know why this happened

I'd hate to re-install over a 3G connection. That would cost more than the game did in 2003.


My pacher keeps sitting at

(1/4): VALIDATING CLIENT: 0.0%

I have turned off the firewall and restarted it, nothing changes.

a few days ago, it patched just fine.


Any ideas to avoid a re-install would be appreciated.

This is my exact issue as well. I got the patch just fine, as the ones before. But for some reason, now it won't work. I would love to avoid a reinstall as well.

My launcher keeps getting to 15% creating patch before even downloading anything and then freezing. I have tried rebooting, restarting the program many times, and running the repair tool several times. Nothing seems to work.
