I'm not too sure you'd appreciate Amarrian festivities. Too much swilling of brandy, pats on backs, and discussion about how we are the masters of the universe.

However last I remember of a post Campaign event two of the Classiarii did end up singing rather grating renditions of the Amarrian Classics.

The Amarr Empire was founded tens of thousands of years ago, on strong traditions of faith and service. Traditions that we uphold today. Your people have done so little to note, and haven't even been capable of stabilising your own tribes into anything resembling civilized society.
Your people know nothing of what it takes to build an Empire, not to mention to have that empire stand the test of thousands of years and STILL stand firm together as one, united in His love. You should be so lucky.

We are truly blessed to have been given His grace and His love, but it is up to us to embrace it and continue spreading His word throughout New Eden, that the darkness may one day subside and all are basked in His glory.

Your compulsion aside, when discussing foundations of the Empire, ignoring the prophet Gheinok would be near heretical. The Empire was one under God long before it was one under an Emperor. And while the FORM of the Empire changed much in that time, that the Empire was founded upon those principals, 15000 years ago, is unquestionable.

There can also be no debate that The Amarr Empire stands as one, united by God. That there has been trials of our unity and faith is not a basis for claims that we do not now, stand as one under the rule of our Divine Empress.
The loss of our wayward children, the annexed Matari people, is a sign that our work in reclaiming them is long from complete, nothing more.

The Empire is not us, Diana, therefore it is not ideal that we be allied with them. Moreover, as their ultimate aim, they have the objective of changing us and adding our distinctiveness to their own. This is the same objective that we abhor so much in our Gallente cousins.

The State does not ask anyone to adopt our ways. We certainly do not demand it and would not compel it by force. We simply ask that, if you wish to live among us, you accept that you must do so as one of us.

In addition it is not accurate to say that we chose the most compatible partner amongst the other three empires to be our allies. The Gallente were our implacable foes - we could not choose them, even if we wished to. The Republic, on the other hand, was virtually a client state of the Federation at that time - although they have taken strides since.

Our marriage with the Empire is one of convenience. We do not share all the same values. That said, I have greatly enjoyed working with the pilots of Shalee Lianne's Imperial Outlaws alliance. There are definitely kindred spirits to be found amongst the faithful.
