this latest patch has increased client cpu usage by 100% (in space),.. please roll back

seems abit daft to do this, if your unable to run the the same amount of clients before the patch, there is no reason to have them/pay for them.

Like Jaroslav said, run a debug/boot into Safe Mode and see what's taking up so much processor power. It's very unusual for one game to take over the processor like that, so something somewhere on your system obviously has changed.

Have you updated any drivers recently? Are you running any background applications? Installed any new hardware? These are all good questions to ask yourself before blaming EVE.

:Edit: Also, running things in a window generally takes up more CPU than an app on full-screen; how long have you had EVE running like that?

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

you assume that i havnt check all of the above,. i don't just hop on the forum and whine as soon as a problem occurs and blame eve,. don't assume im a techno-tard

as i said before, which you clearly didnt read,. i havnt changed, updated anything on my pc, except patching the eve client

so somthing on my system hasnt 'obviously been changed',.. to assume such a thing is stupid,. even after i state such,. please stop posting

There is probably some problem.. File an petition ... technical issue .. and try to provide as many information possible.

Just in case.. try to delete all caches and repair client...

You know, if you're just going to attack people for offering suggestions (that you asked us to provide, might I add), you're not going to get very far in actually fixing the problem.

it wasnt an attack you fairy,. grow a pair

im open to suggestion sure,.. but only from those who have read the OP,.. did i say that i updated drive4rs?? changed my pc in any way??

or did i say all that has been changed is the patching of the client.

your 'obviously been changed'' comment was wrong and made from a position of ignorance,. as i stated nothng has been changed,. why say that? is that not dumb??

Earlier, you said...

That didn't say much. People can only assume you meant the changes to the in-game settings. So, before you continue to attack someone for trying to help you, perhaps you should provide more detail. Now that you have provided the details others have asked, it's time to send a petition. The GMs will give you all the instructions for getting a log from the Eve Client. I also recommend sending a log from your DXDiag scan as well as details of your hardware.

'any settings' means 'any settings',... surely would would assume i mean all settings,.. rather than just eve setting,. .hence the 'any' part to the statement

They did a settings reset today, try resetting your settings one more time and clearing your cache?
Ran 2 clients on a dual core E8200, fixed window this morning on separate monitors with no problems.

Are you running 1 or 2 or 3 monitors? I have seen an issue with having clients stacked on top of each other with one monitor and insanely high CPU usage.

I'm done with you.

You obviously don't want my help. All you've done is insult me and make offensive remarks, so....

You can suffer.

It is actually. I am now very interested to see where this thread goes. Hopefully it goes some place that has cold beer. I like cold beer.
