EDIT: Tranquility works ok (just went online!) - problems remaining on Singularity.

Waiting for phoebe patch, i updated my Singularity installation to 840934 version (will be the same for Tranquility)

starting from "bin" folder, as always, eve does not start and give me this error:

......
X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request:  140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request:  21 (RRSetCrtcConfig)
  Value in failed request:  0x0
Serial number of failed request:  495
Current serial number in output stream:  495

[1]+  Exit 1                  wine "C:\Program Files\CCP\Singularity\bin\ExeFile.exe" /server:singularity

i have:
ubuntustudio 14.04 up to date
wine 1.7.28
nvidia 730M
on Lenovo T540p

and i can start eve normally - perfect up to 4 clients simultaneously.

Any ideas, please?

On Singularity, always use the launcher. Let me know if that helps you at all.

It's a crappy solution, but I also had problems with the exefile there.

I'm not sure if it's to do with this, though both Captain Nyko and myself Captain Skarlet have tried to login to the SISI, though keep getting this message on the launcher..

"There was an error while validating your account, please try again.."

TQ seams to work OK for both of us..!!

Try clear cache, I logged in without any issues.
