Considering that faction warfare pilots can shoot opposing faction pilots in high security space. Is there any reason that low level FW sites could not be seeded in high security space with gate access only allowing those enlisted in a faction to enter?

It could:
Help bridge new players into PVP in a relatively safe environment.
Teach new players how to use local and security channels with greater effect.
Create more game play options for FW players.
Shift a small portion of high sec player bases from L4 mission hubs to quieter areas.

In order to make this a viable option you would have to get rid of the Faction Navy response to hostile militia throughout high-sec. But then that would...

- allow anyone in Faction Warfare to attack everyone in the hostile militia anywhere, anytime... including where the newbies are staging themselves from... without putting in a fair amount of time, effort, and planning.
- shift the majority of PvP from low-sec to high-sec... because why would you PvP in a place where you can be attacked by anyone (see: pirates, outlaws, null-sec alliances, randoms) whom you are not technically at war with?
- make farming safer for alts that do not want to be disturbed by randoms that want to fight.

What Shah said.

So all you are asking if for more risk-free farming (in current situation with the Faction Police system as it is).
If at all, opening a plex in high-sec should make you suspect or something...So that others can probe your site down and kill you.
The entire thing about it being in low-sec, where there is much more then just FW targets, is that there is a risk with it.
CCP already got rid of farming of certain exploration sites last couple of years, don't ask for new ones...

Not to mention, HOW in the world would it move L4 mission runners away from from their mission hubs.

This is a sentence fragment.

Yes, there is a reason.

FW plexing is about PvE in a PvP, risky, environment. Moving it to highsec where your only enemies can't even get at you without the faction police chasing them around is silly.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

simple.

because the navy will rip frigates apart so no risk at all (pvp) so it will be only used for LP farming. giving people interested in FW not a chance because some veteran carebear will have that stuff farmed up on his FW alt in no tme.

thank you good bye.

Ah... I remember the time I was in Faction Warfare when it first came out... there were Amarr scum in the Ammatar Mandate region, and they thought they were safe from Minmatar there. I camped them, and blew them up with my Eagle, mwa ha ha hah aha. There were delicious tears because they thought I was hacking since the police weren't ganking me because I was Minmatar.

Ah, sorry for the randomness of my post... just seen the title of this thread and it brought on memories. Blink
