Started playing with exploration the last few weeks and got an Anathema up and running with Astrometrics and associated skills to 4.

Now wondering what the smallest ship is I can use to scan for ships and to find out whether Wormhole space is occupied ?

If the Wiki is up to date it has to fit an expanded Probe Launcher using Combat/Deep space Scanner Probes ?

expanded launcher + combat probes.

So pretty much anything that can fit an expanded probe launcher can do it. Like your Anathema.

Well, technically the smallest ship for scanning/exploration is the Zephyr, which is a Shuttle hull size. Too bad those were limited edition and now cost a bit.

Either way, Covert Ops frigates, like your Anathema, are the best ships for scanning, because they get bonuses for scanning. If you're fancy flying a tech2 frigate (don't have skills and/or the iskies), look for a tech1 variant of the hulls, they also have a nice scanning bonus.

Ah, you seek meaning? Then listen to the music, not the song.
