And this is a great example of what is wrong with wh. Why the hell wouldn't someone help this guy, even if for a few ISK? While the tips above are absolutely sound, give the dude a break, everyone has to start learning somewhere. I am just happy he is trying to make a home in wspace...

Theses threads have been seen many times, and it's always easier to laugh at others until it happens to them.
just squint your eyes and try to see it as constructive criticism.

Side note: there needs to be a stick or something for "lost wormhole" threads.

Here's an idea. Get a Geddon. Find another wormhole. Get lost in there. See how much entertainment you can create. The tears of thine enemies can salve the burns of your SMA lossmails.

Some Good Advice here, thanks to those sharing some of their knowledge Blink

1. Yea I see the point here, and I will 'park' a scanning alt just for situations like this.
2. Pretty much assumed this, but didn't correlate having an alt as a back-up. Thanks!

Perhaps I should learn the hard way, and lose this potential home for myself. Was just poking around, and this looked like a decent place to start my wormhole settlement adventures.

Thank you for the positive reply, hopefully someone will stumble across J112137, and by then I will probably have a better reward to give for their kindness Cool

Interesting concept, from what I've read a Geddon would have a long list of targets it could take solo, or even Geddon vs. 2.
I assume it's a neut fit, making it's targets 'dead in the water'. I will have to try that once I can build and fly those.

I realize that I derp'd when I came back to the hole and it was gone. I should of waited until a new High Sec static spawned, instead of trying to move in through an 'end-of-life' connection. - Ugh thought I had enough time.
Although I researched wormhole mechanics, getting feedback from those who do it on a daily basis be it positive or negative sheds light and nonetheless enlightens me all the more on my journey through wormhole space.
So, Thank you all and I look forward to more replies.

I'm always surprised when you hear of new peeps just yolo'ing in to see what happens. On one hand I admire the bravado, on the other I wonder why they don't learn from established WH peeps first.

Still credit to you for diving in, hope u get back to it soon.

Most defiantly worth the read. I wonder how a Rattlesnake, fit with probe launcher, cloak, and a mobile depot with utility modules would fare... I may just try that while I wait to find J112137. Twisted

No longer offering a reward for this wormhole.
I've decided to give up on trying to find it again.

Thanks to those who have replied, and for the insight/knowledge shared.

this weekend has been my first time going in wormholes. i've visited a few c1,2 and 3 and even a c5 and was wondering about possibly moving in to a low class for a bit of PI and anoms but from reading this thread it seems i will need to create a new toon who can scan and just leave them in there.

is this right?

Having alts in the hole so you can scan your way back in case you get podded or rolled out is pretty standard. You don't want to risk losing your hole with POS and everything just because you got locked out with your main for whatever reason, things like what happened with the op happen.

The training an alt needs to do this is nothing great. Just bare bones scanning skills and cloaking would be enough since wormholes are actually relatively easy to pinpoint. Leave as many alts in the hole as you can afford, just in case and make sure you have everything planned before making a move. Good luck.
