Client won't launch on windows 7

I have installed EVE on a windows 7 laptop but when launching the game nothing happens. The launcher logs me in, I click PLAY button, goes on LAUNCHING for about half a minute an then switches back to PLAY and nothing happens. When I check the Task Manager I can see a process running as exefile.

I even ran the repair tool and it finished but no change whatsoever. I launched the LogServer and got some results that I saved.

This is frustrating and embarrassing(for CCP, of course) at the same time as I wanted to check the game after few years I haven't played only because of the repeated emails I still got from EVE. Finally i decided to check it out and this happens. For now I am giving it a chance to see if anyone replies and can help with this issue. If not I will uninstall and probably never come back.

I actually submitted a bug with this, see what happens.
