New player. POS. Does not compute.

Just wardec the corp with the offline POS and shoot it? Why should CCP play the game for you?

That's your problem right there.

As others have said there's nothing to stop you taking an offline POS down, hire some mercs or spend 50M on a wardec and bring some friends with guns, either will do the job.

If not, OP doesn't understand about war decs and its possible to remove it....themselves. OP probably doesn't understsand that Jita bing a hive of scum and villainy.....3 jumps isn't safe, as another person will come along and blow up the POS. Better off like 6 jumps from Jita in an out of the way area.

Also all for CCP giving a battleships class XL guns for POS bashing very much like a dread without the siege bonuses (maybe short range guns only, tracking bonus since a BS would kill its own ability it hit targets moving at a non AB/MWD speed, similar titan role bonus that cannot hit smaller targets, only defense is small drone bay), just no damage bonus or rate of fire per ship level...it would do more damage than a normal battle ship fitting alone, replacing 2 or 3 people in battleships. Kind of like an assault battlecruiser, even capable of taking down caps now sitting at gates in a BS hull instead of piloting capital ship (aka most pilots don't want to train cap ships, fear encounter caps, but won't consider the effort train for them since their cruisers are so much more cheaper...they just won't put in the effort and expect a rifter to be able to hit thermal vents the size of indigenous rodents to desert planets..than the pilots die to a force projecting greater than they expect and come running to the forums to whine about it, demanding another nerf...cause they won't fly caps to counter caps . Idea works on POS bashing as well, just doesn't do it as fast as a dread can)

There is a very simple solution:

Wardec the corp and kill the offline tower.


The problem you show is only a problem for carebears that dont even look at a gun.

I don't think you looked very hard, there were plenty of free moons in Ikuchi, next door to Jita when I looked a couple of weeks ago.

But I do agree that there are too many dead sticks around and it would be nice if they had a bit less EHP so they could be removed easier.

Hell, a hacking option to take over offline POSes would be nice, too.

PVE only player plz go. You either shoot the POS to replace it with your own or you don't. I bet you you'll even whine about large faction towers in C1 space because it's so hard to kill solo or with your small band of merry friends.
