Steam & Singularity?

My friend has Eve-Online through steam.
Currently he can get on just fine.
He can log into tranquility just fine with his username and password.
For some reason we can get singularity working all the way up to the launcher but it keeps telling him wrong username and password.
Is there any solution to this?
Ive even got singularity to that point 2 different ways and both ways doing that.

We (Customer Support) dont officially offer assistance with the test server, but there is a player made guide here that may help.
