I like the login screens, when i want to leave the computer on idle, i prefer to leave it with login screen (Ctrl + F9).
An animated background and with a fitting soft music is quite cool to see when i return to office :)

Well, regarding trust no one, EVE brings out who people really are. As a result you get to see that most people really don't deserve much trust. By building a dog-eat-dog universe, you learn a lot about people.

And regarding OP, this is one small reason that Vista kicked a lot more ass than people realize. I used the Mirror's Edge title screen.

I pick my nose whilst no-one is looking, roll the snot up into little balls, and flick them into the corner of the room.

Well you did ask! Roll

Look into my eyes...   and tighten that sphincter, kid.

In viewing the progression of eve and the metagame I've found the benefit of finding a middle path between all things.

Being excessively caldari leads to being restricted by menial and unfulfilling tasks to make money.

Being excessively amarr leads to stagnation and eventual mediocrity.

Being excessively minmatar leads to irrational fear in others and attempts to bring one down.

Being excessively gallente leads to being useless except in small niches that others can do nearly just as well with greater cost effectiveness.

Take from that what you will.

When not playing EVE I sit here and theory craft jump routes and roaming ideas. Also I look at porn on the other monitor. But I do that when playing EVE as well. So no difference there.

Not true... It jus shows what we'd like to fake, not what we really are. Like in pen'n'paper RPGs. We create a character and go with the tide.

I myself learned about teamwork, leadership and accomplishments and how to tear all of those down with glee.
