Ship for 0.0 Angel ratting (Belts + Anos)

Hi there,

currently I'm looking for a nice ship to rat angels in 0.0.

I can fly every t1 ship and have aceptable weapon skills for every type and don't want to use t2 ships for ratting in 0.0. Also I don't want to use any faction ships.

I used a Tornado a few years ago but I'm not sure if anything changed since they were introduced.

Please give me some advice an help :).

Domi + sentries = profit.

Just put 3 x DDAs in lows, sebos and/or tracking computers in mids and DLAs in highs + some tank and MJD. Warp at 100km, drop sentries, lock stuff, melt stuff.

this, but with a navy vexor. cheaper and pretty much the same dps, and overall just faster at everything

Navy Vexor doesn't get the sentry optimal bonus so your dps at range is actually much lower than the Domi. If you want a Cruiser hull go with the Ishtar.

Hi there,

thanks for your replys so far.

But two of three suggestions are faction or t2 ;).

Somebody got another suggestion except a domi? I'm not the best in handling drones.

How do I do this? Warp at 100km, turn around and when they are too close, put the drones back in the bay and use the MJD and do the same again?

i used to rat in a bc.

so maybe a myrmidon? prolly need sig amps for lock range and an mjd. if going sentries i d really k

then again considering its tank properly fitted you should not run into too much trouble up close.

that being said you'll want to keep pre aligned.

Myrm is a good cheap intermediate, can fit it for pvp in-case you get jumped as well as, no need to go in at range just warp in at 0 and use medium drones you don't really need anything else. Also the prophecy is a good alternative.

Ps the vexor navy issue is not t2.

for belt rats, an artillery tornado should do fine, it has no tank to speak of though, so no anoms.

I should buy an Ishtar.

For Angels Space you are pretty much restricted to Missiles, Drones and Projectile based ships just because of damage types. Others will work however you will be hitting against the resists.

For belt ratting T1 Cruisers and BCs can do the job if you have the support skills, but for Anoms BCs for the lower level ones are OK, but for the most part if you are restricting yourself to T1 then BS is where you will need to be.

Dominix is good, but also consider the Raven and the Geddon(iirc its Cruise/Drones now right)

T1 Domi doesn't have a bonus for Turrets or Tanking, so I recommend a Arty/Sentry/Shield Tanked with MJD fit and lots of Damage Mods :)
