First I am not asking for sympathy but to hear me out.
I have to get this off my chest.

I first start playing in 2004 then the prices on plex were very little.

Now 2014 prices went from 650 mil in beginning of the year to 875 mil (in Amarr) these days.

I have 6 characters, I am diabetic and have another illness I will not mention.
I can not work anymore because of this and have to do it with welfare so it is out of the question to buy plex online for real money.
I am mining to get isk together to buy the plex, now if you buy a plex online with real money it is about 15 euro/dollar and it has been for a very long time.

So why raising the plex prices on the market to an insane high amount it is just ridiculous.

I am forces to stop playing as I can not get that sort of isk together, not with 1 account or with 6.

It seems people are getting more and more greedy.

My account expires from 20 days to 50 days. if the prices has not dropped I have to find another game to keep me busy.

Feel free to find another game, do something that actually earns you money instead of mining or just drop to using fewer accounts.

Reduce the number of your active accounts.

As a single account holder myself, all imma say is you really don't need more than one account to do well at EVE. I laugh quite heartily at people with more than one because I find it amusing how easy it is for CCP to make cash of those that think they need more than one. Any perceived advantage you think you're getting, any extra stuff you think you're collecting, is an illusion that is easily outmatched by the same number of accounts run by one player each. For multi-account holders, EVE is more of a job than it is for single-account holders. The evidence is in how many multiboxers whine about plex prices.

PLEX price thread #31415927 will be locked in short order, just like all the ones before it.

people always seem to forget the other side of the story. 20bucks buys you about 13 fitted BCs, about 27 fitted cruisers or more frigates than you could possibly lose on a whole month...

I might have misread you, but it seems you are under the impression that it's CCP who controls the PLEX-price? The prices is a victim of "suply and demand", not CCP-greed.

Kind of finding it strange that you also claim to not being able mustering up the isk pr month for a plex.. especially since you do not work that much.
Mining is far from a lucrative isk/hr thingy, but making enough to plex an account should be fairly easy (ofc depending on your mining-skills, but you claim to have played since 2004...soo....^^ ).

Sad to hear you are sick, but your story does not add up for me at all.. (meaning a 2004-player who dont know how to make enough isk for plex).

What's really interesting about threads like these is the assumption of the OP that everyone reading it does not play the game whatsoever and can't possibly know how easy actually is to get the ISK to pay for PLEX-es. It's the same reason why threads like these are locked either for ranting or non constructive criticism, depending on the actual tone of the post.

And no, PLEX didn't even exist in 2004. It was introduced in Quantum Rise, November 2008.

You are literally moaning because you can't play eve like a job..... I think a break from the game would suit you down to the ground!

One possibility would be to try something other than mining to supplement your income. With six characters even high-sec PI could get you a PLEX each month.
