In the war I'm in, Amar is close to beating Minmatar. I can't find anything about this on the wiki, but maybe I missed it? What happens, just a reset?

You (the winner, that is) have more systems to farm FW tier to get better LP efficiency. So the high/nullsec farmer alts in your Faction get a better payout on their LP stocks.

Back when I was in Calmil (in my day, both ways uphill, etc) we were the first to completely conquer a warzone. We got a badge.

The Faction's membership count more or less plummeted after that, then quite sometime later they added in the 'soft' win reward there is now.

If you mean what happens to the systems, nothing. To retake them, they need to be retaken.

Absolutely nothing; after some time prices drop low enough, pendulum swings and the cycle continuous.

Just have fun with the Fleets. Usually during the start and end of the FW cycle you see larger, better organised fleets. Join those.

During the slog back to being ready for a push you are mostly limited to solo or small gang warfare......but when you snag a system you might get a fight or two out of the whole thing.

You can say that either Minmatars or their plexers (opinions vary on these forums - people throw complains on both ;-) ) gave up farming, so naturally Amarr gained momentum since our prices were okaish but LP reserves were low. This is kinda how it goes. From what I gathered (don't want to insult anyone in either militia) most people don't really care about tier, and don't treat it as an indication of who's winning.

You form fleets and throw away expensive ships at each other even though you don't have to - this is how the FW works most of the time, and people manage to live happily with it.

Rare moments when it's different are when, for example, your home system is gaining contested value and you're afraid someone would flip it and make your hangar unaccessible. Then the natural first reaction is to resist an attack instead of moving out right away (resisting has lesser consequences Oops).

Imho the rivalry comes from feeling superior to the contestant/contestants (when you're Amarr - Amarr fights 2 militias at the same time Pirate Sometimes 3).

Amarr is the natural choice for real man, requiring grit, resolve, and resourcefulness.

You don't win as such in FW acourse. It would be awfully boring if you could.

I knew writing that was bound to troll someone. I was hoping more to entertain Amarr though vOv

I didn't hear about our guys moving out to high sec. Last time I checked a lot of your militia went there around a month or 2 after the Winmatar drama.

You lost Frerstorn back then. Fun times.

Frerstorn has been seeing large Amarr fleets regularly. If you're looking for fights, there are plenty to be had. Contact me if you need an extra logi pilot while you're in the area o/

there is no reset. Having a lot of systems means that you have to defend a lot of systems. Which is only possible for a short amount of time. The other faction will quickly have a few systems back and the pendulum swings the other way. FW is permanent war, no win condition, no reset.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Once your militia captures all the systems in the warzone, nothing happens. You keep all your systems and if the minmatar want systems back, they have to do the work.

If you really want to know what winning is like, join the GalMil! Big smile
