Didn't succeed, but figured I'd document it so future people who search this guy's name will know.

Attempted to get a 500m "security" deposit.


On a side note, anyone who is looking to join Goonswarm should never join if anyone asks a deposit. It's ALWAYS a scam. In addition, you shouldn't want to join goonswarm anyway.

That is all false.

Alexis is trying to seem like an innocent person that people are trying to scam... while he/she is actually an even bigger scammer that scammed me of 1 billion isk!

This is absolutely false. We take a standard security deposit in order to ensure the quality of our new bees remains high, as well to make sure people are ready for nullsec. We even have an API system set up to ensure all applications are kept on the up and up.

I will vouch that I have known Sirokko since 2006 and he has always been an honest and forthright person of impeccable honour. I find you trying to spread filthy lies about him distasteful to the extreme. Consider yourself marked sir. Good day!

It's against Goon policy to scam. Report them to their corp's CEO, they'll probably be kicked if you can provide proof.

In a game where PvP is a core part of the game experience, "playing the game" generally involves at least attempting to ruin others' experiences.

It's best to think of Eve as a microcosm of real life. Here are a few things Eve can teach you:

1) A fool and his money are soon parted (scammers)
2) Bad people will take your stuff given the opportunity, so don't leave your stuff where they can get it (can flippers, ninja salvagers)
3) Driving an expensive car or a truck full of expensive goods attracts robbers (suicide gankers)
4) You need security even against people you think you can trust (infiltrators)

As I said in my other post, noone was scammed, and I'm not really upset. Sirokko seemed like a nice guy, and I didn't really give him time. He invited me, I asked right away how much the "deposit" was, he said 500m, and I put it on the forums. Nothing against him, just looking out for the new players "like myself" who might not be up to date on how goonswarm works :P

When I was new, I even wanted to join, so I did my research, and I know how it works. hehe

Oh I see, so you're one of those "white knight" fellas, the ones that think they can make a difference.

Fun fact for ya: It won't make a difference

Beware what enemies you make, suicide alts with locator agents can turn into a big problem for you. Especially since it's the Goons you're talking about here

I used to despise the Goons. I had never interacted with them, only heard that they were a close knit group of scammers.

Then I got my first taste of blood and thievery and started to kind of idolize them.

Then I read these threads started by Alexis and concluded that the only person Alexis is really making look bad is Alexis. And I began to wonder what happened to Alexis to make her so mad. So now I wonder who she really is...
