So PL has been dropping around the area latly. Usually in LR rohks with scimmy support and doing quiet well. I was wondering what tactic and ship types would be most effective against them? Advice is welcome.

Fight in the same system they base their titans. Seriously, PL can't fight worth **** when their cyno's don't work. They got stomped by 5 man rupture/hurricane gangs basically 24/7 for the entire time they based in amamake. Oddly it took them a few months to figure out that probably wasn't the best place for them and left. I think they finally called it quits about 2 months ago. Place just hasn't been the same without their shiny loot.Sad

Their Rokhs use 425 mm

A possible tactic would be to get under their guns using HACS. Primary the scimmies then eat the rokhs. Make sure you get a warpin in the middle of their logistics or between logi and BS. With enough range the Roks will mess you up before you properly target anything.

Good luck!

PS: Kudos to PL for actually using ships other than the standard of the day.

You could hire PL to shoot at themselves.

The Rokh kill zones have optimal that can be as close as 22km and fall off to over 200km. The DPS varies a lot in that range depending on the traversal and the ships sensor boosters and tracking computers, witch take time to re-script. So basicly, you wanna be right on top or out of lock range.

Maybe more of a DPS fit BC\HIC gate camp fleet with ECM that is setup to jam off the RR. You are gonna have more pilots in your group that can make the fit compared to a HAC fleet and lose less ISK per ship loss doing it. That being said, it can be countered easy enough by dropping in a second fleet on your camp and pushing you in to their sniper rokhs on the other side.

If you wanna engage them off the gate you will need some good probers and inty pilots and a real good FC that has experience fighting against sniper fleets.

With an alliance of that size, experience, and those resources the only real option is to not give them the opportunity to gank targets in the first place.

Re-Script is pretty instantaneous. Right Click, Select, Boom.

If they are fit to snipe with optimal out to 150km they have several of each, that takes several seconds to change out.

If you can come in on their falloff and let them take some pot shots and then warp to with-in 15km you gave yourself easy 8-10 seconds while they re-script and lock targets. If your in 500 DPS BCs you can get your locks, get your traversal up and kill 1 or 2 before they get their first shot off. By then, you will have your traversal up and be difficult to hit, have them bubbled, and have the upper hand.

Well when we were dealing with PL, we didn't have the manpower to counter the Supers, so we used guerrilla warfare to drop their smaller stuff.
