Hi guys,

Sorry for bringing this up, i am sure it was explained before somewhere, but searching just gets me old, pre-Oceanus stuff and i am not sure if anything has changed by then and, honestly, it's way easier to get an answer on these boards by someone competent enough, than to do a several hours research :).

Now that being said, please explain me how does stacking penalty work now, since the description ingame is pretty vague.

What i mean is, if i equip, for example, a gyrostab and a +projectile damage rig, are they stacking penalized or not?

Another, more complicated situation - an armor plate and a layering, do they get the penalty as well? since one is giving flat hp and the other % i am inclined to think that they should not be penalized.

Thank you in advance for your time.

If they affect the same stat, they are stacking penaltied (of course only if they are modules which stacking penalties are applied to). So the +damage from gyros will be stacking penaltied with the +damage rigs. More about stacking penalties on damage mods and rigs here.

Modules with flat stat increase does not have any stacking penalty. So no matter how many plates you fit, there will not be a change in the stat increase.

The table indicating which stats are susceptible to penalties is especially useful.
