Don't misunderstand.

I know there are several posters in this thread that are just trying to get a rise out of miners, but most of us feel that miners perform an important function in EVE and certainly deserve to be able to pursue that goal.

I personally am a strong advocate of reworking the drone regions, among other things, to bring mining back to the profitability and important base of all industry that it was meant to be.

However I do not believe that they should be able to do so without the risk of loss, no matter where they choose to ply their trade. They need to be just as heads up and skilled at threat detection and evasion as the most hard core PVP pilot is at ambush, scouting, or fleet discipline.

Perfect safety would only serve to devalue their achievements in, and contribution to, the game.

Get alts make them concorded and keep police sitting on your belt. Should cut out the delay.

What they do / can do / are doing, its within game mechanics. If you dont like the mechanics, there is suggestions thread.

Did anyone make you warp to the same belt in the same ship and expect different results?
Like the first procurer loss was like paying a scrub tax and afterwards you like "whew well at least now I'm paid up!" then zipped back to the ice belt.
Alternatively, have you considered joining a group that offers non-Concord based protection?

That is considered an exploit, just so you know, doubly so when you're recycling alts.

Its not. Move along.. Been said milions of times and acknowledged by GMs and DEVs. ... but then again.. The ganker can use the same thing just destroy some other ship somewhere else in the system to move concord out of his target.

While I approve of your methods, Pots and Kettles, man. Your interdiction guide recommends clearing the belts in the same manner the miners "clear" concord from elsewhere to be in the belt.

So long as they don't recycle alts, seems to me like you just need to go alpha against a determined concord baiter.

My argument simply is that someone with a -10 rating should not be allowed to kill the same person over and over again in the same spot in high sec.

So you admit you're being dumb enough to willingly bring hulks and macks into the same spot over and over and over again to be killed?
If you're killed there, maybe twice. It's clear you shouldn't be there.

Go mine some place else.

OP's first mistake is mining in ice in high sec as it's pretty much worthless compared to doing the same in 0.0
Second mistake is to keep mining ice on the same system/region/belt after first ganks
Third is coming to forums and starting a threadnaught about it, making sure you get ganked in the future as well.

OP's right.

There should be consequences for ganking. People with negative security rating should not be allowed in highsec space.

Actions, consequences.

Deal with it, gankers.

Definately. Want to be a pesky piwate then there has to be a real punishment for it. Station and gate guns should shoot you in high sec on sight.

I have no issue with ganking but its to easy and there is no consequences of any worth right now.

There is no other solution given the use of alts means players can work around the current negative sec restrictions.

Try not being AFK. Pay attention to your surroundings. Watch D-scan. Be ready to GTFO when you see him coming (be aligned at just under 75% speed to a station).

It is your own fault for not being prepared. Also, this is not classified as griefing as there is an in-game motivation: mucking with the ice / POS fuel market.

Or if you don't want to take responsibility for your own failure to defend yourself, there's always other professions in EVE to choose from. Or you could find those greener pastures of yours; no one here will miss you.

All cool, but move to another "role" is better and more profitable.

Boo must have his exercise, lest he bite us all in hard to reach places.

Minsc and Boo stand ready.
