ok glancing over my post it might have been too much for some, but hey 1 post in 3 years,
I say deal with it, you have the option to look away.

but seeing the responses I dont know what is more worrying,
that 90% of the people that responded to this post hasnt read it fully and yet still decided to respond or
that they have the attention span of a squirell

I expected some trolls but eve trolls are ofcourse special,
some downright appear to be psychic that lash out to whoever
bad mouths their captors, like kidnap victims that suffer from stockholm syndrome.

what I want is what everybody else wants, which is choice.
if you want to rebalance fine, but let the eve universe decide if they want the alternative, dont force it.
Seed it as new content and maybe make it more attractive with a bonus feature.
you will see that the people/market will always make the right choice and discard what is considered obselete to the game.
this would ensure a transition that is more natural and the people/markets wouldnt be upset after every expansion.
which in turn will keep PLEX cheap and markets stable.

1) This isn't the real world, it's a game that gets updated, as MMO's do.
2) EvE did have kind of a minister of economy, Eyjolfur Gudmundsson, and seeing as the economy still works despite all this ~bad stuff~ you suggest, i'd say he did a damn fine job.

Uhm dude.........

The tag line...for marketing puroses or anything else "EvE is Real"

Is not the perspective of how things work in the game, like mechanics and stuff.

Its about how invested one can be into the meta-game more so.
Like the trust factor between players, the spais&fries concept, and basically even the most hardcore solo-like player can affect or be affected by the myriad of other players in the game on a daily basis based on actions taken.

Im assuming you have never been in a good small gang pvp fight where you won/lost but your efforts mattered
or
been out mining and upset so much at some douche locking up and rudely trying to mine your rocks that you went got a combat ship and seriously gave him a lesson in proper miner ettiquete.
or
that you were an explorer looking for a big payoff only to find as you get the market someone was seconds ahead of you and blasted the market into oblivion making your payoff almost worthless in the amount of time you put into it.


That is what is mean by EvE is real.....player interaction.
So yeah i agree with another poster earlier said....to publicly state your not butthurt....must mean your bleeding profusely from the posterior.

I also like to spread a bit of sugar on it when it goes into the smoker, it slowly melts into the fat.

I make more back-bacon (pork loin cured like ham, a.k.a. Canadian Bacon) than regular bacon as it's a tad healthier and less expensive to make, it takes longer to cure but follows the same basic recipe and can be hot smoked unlike regular bacon.

o7 Pork belly becomes bacon this weekend.

Someone has something to say and the sycophants show up with the snazzy one liners that have made them EvE famous. You guys never fail to disappoint (clip this part and say I never fail not to for your sound bite).

I had similar thoughts the other day. Why does CCP spend so much time rebalancing which just leads to them rebalancing? I will give you the answer, it is hard for people to accept that some things and some people are just better. Especially in EvE. And it is hard for CCP to do more than rebalance and skin ships.

Remember EvE is not a skill based game. You get better by playing longer than someone else. Time gives you access to better ships with better equipment and better utility from ships and equipment. The best EvE pilot in the world in a Day 1 character will lose miserably to the worst pilot who has played significantly longer than them.

And why can't some ships be better than others? If we were restricted to a faction I could understand wanting balance, but when you can pilot anything who cares? But people whine and rebalancing is one thing CCP has the skill to do so that is where they spend their time.

tl:dr Life isn't fair, and for people who pride themselves for playing a harsh game you sure whine a lot for rebalancing.

Even I got that "eve is real" is not a reference to any exacting real life astronomical physics.. It was about the stories of Eve and the fact that all people around the world participate in the same eve online game world.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -
