also allowing hover over the icon too remove the red number .. having too click it too clear the number is annoying

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Like it already!

Here is my wishlist:

- make a right-click options on the messages being displayed for removing them or clear all

I thought this was mentioned and I looked Straight

- Mission complete

- Complex complete

- You got an "expedition" (into the wilderness with blue-tag items to find)

- "Expedition" stopped Sad

( - you forgot to collect the Damsel.. you should know better..)

- Mission accepted (it's obvious but you get distracted and a nice notice doesn't hurt)

New to the table:

- Bug report notification (when a GM needs more info you get a ping that you need to log into the bug reports)

- Petition response ping
Maybe make the "notifications" in blue?

Most of the time I want to kill that damn red thingy.. (not the notification, they are cool)

I really don't have time to lurk the forum to find it was adressed to you before, but the new notification System is really great, but i see 2 problems :

- The "old" notification mails ... I really hope you're going to get rid of it ...
- There's always 2 notifications poping up to tell you someone is online or offline when you add someone to you adressbook and to your watch list at the same time.

I think it would be nice if you wanted to individually delete items from the list. Keep some notifications maybe as (reminders) but clear space for other things to occur.

i clicked on the notification icon b4 my game was fully loaded [it was still black screen]. it froze in th open position with no notifications displayed [they did not load].

i was able to fix the frozen notification screen by turning it off and back on.

for instance .. a war ended last night around 17.00 eve time , but i didn't get a notification telling me the war had ended at that precise time only the usual 24hour before hand old notification , so i still had too look at corp wars too make sure it had ended .

Is it possible to have the button "snap" against window/screen edges upon placement?

It seems to be the only UI element that doesn't have this behavior.

according to the notification log i just trained the same skill to the same level twice (different times, same skill and level). triggered once when it actually finished (according to character sheet, before DT today) and once when i logged in.

Can you do something about the 30 seconds it takes for the black screen to go away when loading the client when this new system is enabled?

give us the option to tie the notification icon into the neocom properly, so it actually stays in a proper position and disappears together with the rest when using autohide.

would also be nice to have tick/untick all buttons that apply to all available notifications and not just the different categories, many people don´t care about any of the current ones besides watchlist - this would make both disabling the rest and playing around with things less effort.

a way to turn this into something that´s actually more useful than the current watchlist notifications (since many people dont care about the rest displayed in there anyway) would be adding killmails, unless it causes too much additional serverload (perhaps you could disable it as soon as tidi kicks in in a system?).

display feedback.

1) when you login, you'll get two notification of the same event at the top. Once when happened and a second as soon as you login.
Example: skill training completed 1 day, 16 hours, 30 minutes ago. AND you'll get a second notification with the same exact skill completed info saying ... "completed 5 seconds ago" which is when you logged in just now.

2) repetitive and redundant. The hover info window ... has the same info as the notification it almost covers up. Really .. the same info twice??

I also get a black screen for 20-40 seconds on login when I select a character until the game UI and graphics appears (I can hear game sounds and the character is in the game).

This only happens with the new notification system enabled. Only for one specific character. Doesn't happen with other characters or on another account (all have the new notification system enabled too)

Thinking about it, it makes sense that this only happens to this character. Since it is my main and have significantly more notifications than the others.

I went and deleted the entire notification history from the new notifications settings panel and as suspected, the black screen problem is gone and I am able to get into the game immediately after selecting the character.

But it seems a bit short sighted from the devs implementing this feature if it completely chokes when the notification log is few hundred items long. Basic use case scenario that should have been taken into account, IMHO.

Didn't know if it has been suggested or not, but I didn't feel like reading the whole thread (and who really does anymore anyway?). Now, the idea is two-pronged, as in it partly deals with the notification system and partly with something else, but both are intended for the same goal in mind. Basically, add expeditions to the notification system.

Part of the idea, the part actually dealing with the notification system, is from another player, so the following is from two quoted replies, mine and the other player's...

The feature I wish for is:

Notifications for when someone creates a Corporation or Alliance bookmark in a specific bookmark folder.

That would make communicating the finding of sites or wormholes a lot easier and enable people to communicate mundane things across time zones!

Can we anchor this Notification icon into the sidebar? I can't really find a space on my screen I can put this icon at where it doesn't obscure something or looks out of place.


Can the section header of a currently expanded section also stay visible at the top of the window all the time? It's bothersome having to scroll up a lot when you change settings in large sections, such as War or Sovereignty.

The 'new' notifications just point to the 'good' old mails (with exception of like the skill training)?
=> Please make it point to the relevant object. (e.g. war-report, people & places (contacts or straight to the character sheet) , bills could point to wallet. The current way doesn't really eliminate navigation clicks.

Where do I find Industry notifications?
=> I thought feedback was loud enough. Also to include new types that make sence, like i pointed out killmails? Show me ONE guy that found his killmails on himself. One fleet that is not asking "who got the final blow"?

I was afraid to see you building new stuff upon an old mail-notification system. This sort of confirms that we are stuck with mails and we won't see industry nor kill/loss notifications soon.
