Slightly off topic so I don't know if this will get locked, but I just spotted this on The Register:

As it said in the piece, "hell just froze over." It may mean in time that OpenGL will get supported by games makers including CCP, though I'm not holding my breath.

Anyway, another sign that gaming on Linux might be moving in the right direction.
