Hello,

If I have 2 clients of eve open. Then I close one client through normal way like Press ESC > Close Game. Then both clients will freeze 100% of the time guaranteed no matter what. Probably will do the same with more then 2 open but I have not been able to try that.

However if I use force quite on one of the clients then the other does not freeze and it keep running normally.

I have this same issue. I have to force quit one of the clients if i want to keep the others running properly.

Are you using the clonemaker to get two clients going, or the launcher?

The clonemaker works much better. I can easily run 3 clients, and can close any of them at any time without issue.

I had the same issue. Having one client (the one not to close) in fullscreen before closing the other one helped to avoid a frozen client.

Follow this link and read down about 2/3rds of the way to find the eve clone maker script.

I've also found that if the client you're leaving open is minimized, it will not crash.

Also putting an application in-between the clients helps.
The freeze only occurs if the remaining client gets to be
activated by the system upon closing of the first client.

Having ie Safari open and on top of one of the client A
alows you to close client B. The system then switches
to Safari, leaving your client A running. Switching to
client A is then possible without a freeze.

Bottom line is, we shouldn't have to do all these random modifications to stop the game from crashing

I 100% agree with you. Same is with changing the system sound settings.
I wish there was some feedback, as today's patch addresses .....?
